Dragon Ball Daima Promo Shows Off Goku and Vegeta's Different Forms

As a seasoned gamer and ardent fan of the Dragon Ball series since its initial release, I can say with confidence that the dynamic between Goku and Vegeta has always been a highlight for me. The Saiyan rivalry has not only provided thrilling battles but also served as a catalyst for their growth and evolution.

Despite Vegeta, the Prince of the Saiyans, no longer aiming to destroy Earth, his ambition to surpass Son Goku remains unchanged. In Dragon Ball Super, their rivalry has fueled both characters to reach new levels, with Goku mastering Ultra Instinct and Vegeta utilizing a new form called “Ultra Ego”. This longstanding Saiyan rivalry will continue in the upcoming Dragon Ball Daima, as they are shown sparring as adults and even shrinking into miniature versions of themselves. A recent promo showcases the fresh perspectives on the Saiyans in the forthcoming anime.

In upcoming trailers for the sequel series, Vegeta has been featured, but it seems he won’t be teaming up with Goku as they investigate the mystery surrounding Dragon Ball. As fans of anime know, Goku is teaming up with the Supreme Kai, together with new characters Glorio and Panzy, to traverse the universe much like in Dragon Ball GT. Since the story unfolds after Kid Buu’s destruction but before Dragon Ball Super begins, it will be intriguing to see if any fresh twists emerge between these longstanding adversaries.

Goku And Vegeta’s Return

In the anime “Dragon Ball Daima”, even though Goku and Vegeta shrink to small sizes, it seems their power levels may remain unaffected. In a recent “Daima” trailer, we see that Goku retains his Super Saiyan transformation, indicating he’s not reduced to his childhood strength. Although it hasn’t been confirmed for Vegeta yet, Saiyans tend to work in pairs, so there’s a chance they might both maintain their power levels.

Goku And Vegeta in Dragon Ball Super

In our discussion, let’s delve into what the Saiyans were doing in the latest storyline of Dragon Ball Super. Interestingly, the comic did take us back to the happenings of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, but it also showcased Goku and Vegeta on Whis’ planet, spending time with Gohan and Piccolo. In a battle reminiscent of epic tales, Goku’s Ultra Instinct clashed with Gohan’s Beast Form, leaving the outcome uncertain in this family feud. However, readers were treated to more than just this intense confrontation; they also witnessed Gohan battling Broly, and Vegeta’s Ultra Ego made a notable appearance as well.

As a dedicated gamer and avid manga reader, I’ve been deeply moved by the latest chapter of Dragon Ball, Chapter 103. It feels like a poignant final act, given the passing of our beloved creator Akira Toriyama. With the end of Dragon Ball Super also in question, many of us shonen fans have pondered if these are the swan songs of this legendary series. Earlier this year, Dragon Ball Super artist Toyotaro reassured us that the manga will continue, although the mangaka has been rather secretive about when our heroes, the Z-Fighters, might reappear.

Looking forward to keeping pace with the thrilling journeys of Z-Fighters in both manga and anime? Keep tabs on Team Anime at egmr.ru for current news about the Dragon Ball universe, and don’t hesitate to reach out to me @EVComedy to chat about comics and anime!
