She finally re-emerges just in time to save the Morgan wives, who have been cornered by Luca at gunpoint, demanding the return of a bag full of casino chips he had asked Natasha to look after.

As soon as it appears Luca is about to fire, Annabelle surprises him by hitting him with a car, thus proving she’s still alive to the Wives at the crucial moment. When Sean informs Charlie about Annabelle, he makes up his mind to escape, joining Sky and Jade en route to the harbor to elude Maltese authorities and leave the country. Now cognizant of his brother’s actions, Frankie alerts Beth about Charlie’s destination, prompting her to follow suit along with the police.

Arriving at the right moment, they made it clear they’d open fire if he stepped onto the boat. In a nerve-wracking standoff, Beth successfully communicated with him, causing Charlie to surrender to the authorities. As a result, Sky was finally able to embrace her mother, who she had believed passed away.
