Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster is Out Now on Xbox Series X/S

As a seasoned gamer with memories of countless hours spent navigating pixelated landscapes and battling mythical creatures, the announcement of Square Enix’s Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series reaching Xbox Series X/S and PC is nothing short of music to my ears! Having grown up with these games, I can’t help but feel a sense of nostalgia that’s almost palpable.

According to recent reports, the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series by Square Enix is now accessible on Xbox Series X/S and the Microsoft Store for PC users. The games are currently available, with individual titles or a bundle priced at $74.99 (currently reduced to $59.99). You can watch the announcement trailer below.

The first two versions of Final Fantasy, specifically numbers 1 and 2, cost $11.99 each. All other titles are priced at $17.99. However, each game is currently on sale. Each remastered version includes improved pixel graphics, updated visuals, and a modern user interface with alternative font options (including the original style). Additional features like auto-battle, skipping random battles, increased XP gain, and more have been added.

This version also offers optional rearranged music (with a built-in music player), a Bestiary to examine all the opponents, and an Art Gallery for viewing images. Each remastered game boasts unique self-contained features, such as the updated Opera Scene in Final Fantasy 6.

The “Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster” can be purchased on PlayStation 4, personal computers, iOS devices, and Android phones as well. To date, it has been sold more than three million times.
