As a dedicated Metal Gear Solid fan since the days of the original PlayStation, I must say that my heart skipped a beat when I saw the latest trailer for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater! The level of detail and realism in this remake is astounding, and the new third-person camera angle is a welcome addition.
Yesterday’s unveiling of its newest trailer showcases some fresh gameplay from Konami’s “Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater.” Attendees at Tokyo Game Show can get a feel for the game through a playable demo, available to try out. Have a look below, courtesy of the latest “Metal Gear” Hotline.
The gameplay in this remake is impressive and gives a clear demonstration of how visually stunning the redesign is. It also emphasizes the introduction of a new third-person camera view, modeled on modern control settings, along with other user-friendly features like Quick-Dial for quickly connecting with other characters. Additionally, there may be an appearance by GA-KO, hinted at by collectible figurines (though these could only be available in the demo version).
You can play Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater from start to finish, but Konami hasn’t provided a specific release date yet. It will be available on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC, with the latter also supporting the PS5 Pro’s PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR).
