As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt, I’ve seen it all – from pixelated beginnings to the hyper-realistic worlds we now inhabit. The latest trailer for “Unknown 9: Awakening” has piqued my interest like never before!
As a fervent admirer, I’m thrilled to share that Bandai Namco has unveiled a fresh trailer for Reflector Entertainment’s upcoming title, Unknown 9: Awakening. This exhilarating action-adventure is set to debut next month on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC. The trailer offers an in-depth exploration of all aspects of the game, while providing intriguing insights into the powers wielded by protagonist Haroona. Don’t miss out, take a look below!
The narrative centers around Haroona, who is trying to uncover secrets about a strange realm called the Fold, which gives her enigmatic abilities. A group known as the Ascendants also seek the Fold for their own purposes. Alongside her companions, Haroona must thwart the Ascendants from misusing this dimension. Instead of fighting, she can utilize alternate skills such as Shroud and Stepping to navigate situations.
Stepping is interesting because it allows for possessing enemies to use their abilities. As you take down foes with stealth or combat, you get Stepping Tokens for more steps and lethal attacks during possession. Of course, there are ability upgrades, such as Bracer Overdrive, for increased damage and movement speed if you deal a bunch of damage and don’t get hit.
On October 18th, the game titled “Unknown 9: Awakening” will be released. To view additional demonstrations of Haroona’s capabilities, click here.
