Kaitlyn Bristowe didn’t intend to free the nipple at the 2024 People’s Choice Country Music Awards.
In other words, when people who follow the Bachelor Nation star assumed that her large silicone covers were actually her real nipples after she posted a preview of herself in a black, semi-transparent, studded crop top and skirt on her way to an event, she made it clear that they were not.
Kaitlyn posted on her Instagram Stories on September 26th, “It won’t be long before comments ask me to hide my nipple covers.” She then asked, “What should I do about it?
The 39-year-old did not agree or approve of some playful ideas proposed by fans, due to their comments regarding a wardrobe malfunction she experienced.
For those suggesting freedom for exposed nipples, let me clarify – this isn’t the VMAs; it’s the country music awards. But here’s the question: which is more inappropriate? I posed this to my followers, giving them two options: ‘Exposed nipples are worse’ or ‘Oversized nipple covers are worse.’
And once a consensus was reached, the wardrobe modifications commenced.
Not long afterward, Kaitlyn posted a video showing what seemed to be her hairdresser removing a black bra from a bodysuit as part of her ensemble.
“We are sewing,” the Bachelorette alum said, “last-minute sewing.”
Kaitlyn then turned the camera on her nipple covers, saying, “We’re gonna cut these now.”
The final result: Kaitlyn appeared to step out on the red carpet at the PCCAs with no bra and smaller nipple covers.
In an Instagram video posting the following day, the reality star shared her thoughts on the event.
She admitted, “Even at glamorous events such as those red carpets, I sometimes struggle with feelings of inadequacy, or imposter syndrome. Yet, deep inside, I’m telling myself, ‘I am confident, I’m content, I feel good about myself, I look fantastic, and I’m surrounded by my friends.’ And I always have a marvelous time.
Kaitlyn added that Machine Gun Kelly told her he “liked my dress.”

Kaitlyn mentioned to TopMob News co-host Keltie Knight during the award event that this wasn’t their first encounter in the same space, which makes it less awkward for her. She went on to say that even though six months ago she might have been nervous, now they are just relaxing together.
