As a devoted fan, I must share my excitement about the tantalizing glimpse we got of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach from Kojima Productions. Although it didn’t delve into extensive exploration or combat gameplay, they unveiled something equally captivating – the addition of Photo Mode! This feature allows Sam to engage in a fun and unique photo shoot with his fellow Drawbridge members, capturing those precious moments through a Polaroid camera.
It’s unclear if Rainy, Tomorrow, Fragile, and others maintain specific poses or expressions during photos, but they will interact and move around as you snap pictures. The Cryptobiote reappears in a stuffed form, and you can include Sam in the shot for certain images. The game provides a variety of settings, such as locker rooms, staircases, and hangars, which serve as potential backdrops for your photography sessions.
Despite having the ability to adjust flash, take shots from various zoom levels and angles, we’re yet to gather more specifics about filters and exposure settings. Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, set to release in 2025 for PS5, is forthcoming; the exact launch date is still unannounced. Take a peek at the recent trailers showcasing members of Drawbridge, offering glimpses into characters like Tarman and Dollman.
