Everything Coming to Peacock in October 2024

As a cinephile who’s been around the block more times than I care to remember, let me tell you, this October is shaping up to be quite the cinematic rollercoaster! With a mix of horror, drama, comedy, and everything in between, there’s something for every taste.

As October approaches, streaming platforms such as Peacock are ensuring their subscribers stay updated about the upcoming content for the coming month. Beginning October 1st, Peacock is set to offer an entire month brimming with fresh movies and TV series, some of which will be making their streaming debuts.

In October, there are two highly anticipated animation movies from Illumination set to premiere on Peacock. On October 3rd, “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” is slated to return to the platform following a very successful stint on Netflix over the past nine months. And on Halloween, “Despicable Me 4” will make its streaming debut exclusively on Peacock.

If you’re gearing up for some Halloween chills, Peacock is set to release a number of horror movies this October. Some of the titles joining their collection on the 1st are “Jennifer’s Body”, “It Follows”, “The Fly”, “The Purge”, “Malignant”, and even “Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey II”.

In Despicable Me 4, exclusively on Peacock for streaming, our beloved former supervillain-turned-Anti-Villain-League agent, Gru, makes a return, bringing chaos caused by Minions to a new level. Alongside Lucy and their daughters, they welcome a new family member – Gru Jr., who aims to make life difficult for his father. A fresh adversary emerges, forcing the family into hiding. This latest installment in Illumination’s massive global animated franchise is filled with endless action and the studio’s signature witty humor that occasionally pushes boundaries.

I’ve just binge-watched the finale of “Teacup,” an original series on Peacock, and it’s been quite a rollercoaster! This show revolves around a diverse band of individuals in rural Georgia who find themselves battling a perplexing danger to stay alive. It’s loosely based on Robert McCammon’s hit novel “Stinger.” As a fan eagerly waiting for Season 2, I can’t wait to see what happens next!
