Star Wars Outlaws Has Reportedly Managed to Sell Just 1 Million Units So Far

As a seasoned gamer with decades under my belt, I’ve seen the rise and fall of many gaming titans. The launch of Star Wars Outlaws was highly anticipated, but alas, it seems we’re witnessing another disappointing sales performance from Ubisoft. With over two decades of gaming experience, I can confidently say that this is not the Jedi-caliber success Ubisoft had envisioned.

Shortly following the release of “Star Wars Outlaws” in late August, it was evident that its sales were not meeting Ubisoft’s expectations. More recently, Ubisoft has acknowledged this, describing the game’s initial sales as “softer than anticipated.” Although exact figures have not been disclosed, there appear to be some insights regarding the sales performance.

According to a report by Insider Gaming, the Star Wars Outlaws game has only managed to sell 1 million copies worldwide across all platforms thus far. Given the scale of its release and Ubisoft’s high expectations for the game, these sales figures are quite disappointing. Earlier reports projected that the game had sold approximately 800,000 copies by the end of August, which implies it hasn’t seen much growth in terms of sales either.

Ubisoft anticipates boosting sales of the game “Star Wars Outlaws” during the holiday season. They’ve announced plans for several updates and have set the game’s first expansion launch for November 21, coinciding with its Steam release on the same date.
