Who is Chris Dawson?
Chris Dawson, once a proficient rugby league player during the ’70s, transitioned into a Physical Education (PE) instructor post his playing days.
In 2018, the podcast “The Teacher’s Pet” focused on Dawson, leading to a fresh police inquiry concerning Lynette Dawson’s disappearance.
In the month of August 2022, it was determined that Dawson was responsible for taking his wife’s life, and subsequently hiding her remains, in order to advance a romantic involvement with one of his underage pupils, with whom he had been secretly involved.
To this very day, I firmly stand by Dawson’s assertion that he played no part in the vanishing of Lynette. He has consistently maintained his belief that she chose to leave him and their beloved offspring on her own accord.
Where is Chris Dawson now?
Presently, Chris Dawson is incarcerated at the Long Bay Correctional Centre, having received a sentence of 24 years.
By June 2024, the panel of three judges sitting at the New South Wales Court of Criminal Appeal had rejected Dawson’s plea to overturn his conviction for murdering his wife.
