How to watch the Vice-Presidential debate

As a seasoned film enthusiast who has witnessed countless debates unfold like scenes from a political drama, I eagerly await the upcoming Vice-Presidential debate between JD Vance and Tim Walz. Having spent my formative years in the Midwest, where Ohio and Minnesota are as familiar as old friends, I find myself deeply intrigued by this clash of perspectives. The topics up for discussion – abortion rights, the climate crisis, military service – promise a riveting narrative that mirrors the twists and turns of a gripping motion picture.

On the eve of the U.S. Presidential Election on November 5th, the two vice-presidential nominees will engage in a face-off during a debate.

On the evening of the 1st of October, I’ll be tuning in from New York City to witness Ohio Republican Senator JD Vance squaring off against Minnesota’s Democratic Governor Tim Walz in a highly anticipated debate.

Following the highly-awaited U.S. Presidential debate between Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris that occurred on the 10th of September, we now approach the subsequent debate.

Topics such as abortion rights, the climate emergency, and military duty are expected to be discussed during the upcoming debate, which will be overseen by Norah O’Donnell, anchor and managing editor of CBS Evening News, and Margaret Brennan, Face the Nation moderator and chief foreign affairs correspondent.

When is the Vice-Presidential debate?

The debate will take place on Tuesday 1st October at 9pm ET.

It will run for 90 minutes.
