WWE Reveals New NXT Championships, Logo, and Intro on CW Premiere

As a seasoned gamer of WWE NXT, I must say, the CW premiere of this new era has truly been a game-changer! The fresh look, from the silver NXT logo to Shawn Michaels and Triple H’s epic reunion, has breathed a new life into the brand. It’s like they’ve taken the original black and gold spirit, added a touch of modern sleekness, and voila! A masterpiece that leaves me eagerly anticipating each episode.

It’s finally time for WWE NXT to move into a new era on The CW, and if you’re going to start a brand new era, it’s fitting that you also adopt a brand new look. It was quickly apparent from the first episode that WWE had indeed freshened things up, as they revealed a new intro for the show and a new silver NXT logo. Those would be big deals on their own, but then Shawn Michaels would debut a new silver version of the NXT Championship and the NXT Women’s Championship. The NXT 2.0 era is now officially in the rearview mirror.

Shawn Michaels initiated the grand debut of NXT on CW, but he didn’t work alone. Shawn was accompanied by Triple H to inaugurate this new phase, and the crowd went wild when these iconic figures reunited. Regarding the updated logo, it predominantly features silver with black and white highlights, deviating from the initial black and gold branding. Despite not being gold, it retains the elegance of the original logo, opting for a simpler color scheme instead of the vibrant tones from the NXT 2.0 era logo.

The fresh introduction showcases some golden accents to contrast the latest silver design, while incorporating cartoonish elements and slow-motion scenes, such as those featuring Karmen, Lola, and Wendy Choo’s individual highlights. One particularly impressive moment occurs when Giulia’s knee strike is made slower during her fight with Chelsea Green, which you can view in the new intro located above.

New Championships

Ready to embark on a fresh chapter. Shawn Michaels and Triple H kick off this exciting new phase by introducing some entirely new championships! #WWENXT

Apart from the newly introduced NXT Championship and NXT Women’s Championship, there are a few other titles in the mix. The distinctive silver NXT logos adorn both championship belts, with subtle gold accents that complement the central plate’s darker elements. The NXT Championship belt is black, while the NXT Women’s Championship belt is white, and they both look splendid.

The last big new change of the night was a new official theme song, and it was Millions From Now by the big-time duo of 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne. Coupled with the new logo, introduction, and new look to the arena thanks to the updated graphics and color schemes, it was a pretty major change and a welcome shake-up for the start of The CW era.
