As a seasoned gamer of WWE and its various iterations, I must say that this NXT premiere on The CW was nothing short of electrifying! The debut match between Roxanne Perez and Giulia for the NXT Women’s Championship set the bar high, and it certainly lived up to the hype.

As a die-hard WWE fan, I couldn’t contain my excitement when NXT finally debuted on The CW! From the get-go, it was clear that this was no ordinary episode. Shawn Michaels and Triple H kicked things off by unveiling new Championship titles, instantly ramping up the anticipation.

After the bell rang, Giulia and Perez found themselves in a tight corner. Giulia managed to push Perez towards the same spot, but Perez retaliated by applying a wrist lock. Both fighters then moved away from each other, only to return to the ropes. In this exchange, Giulia successfully knocked Perez down for a cover. From there, they took turns attempting covers until Giulia eventually managed to bring the Champ down to the mat.

Giulia knocked Perez down for the second time before attempting a move, but Perez retaliated with a counter. In response, Giulia tried Pop Rocks, but Perez managed to get Giulia to the ground and apply a submission. However, Giulia quickly reversed the situation into one of her own submissions. This nearly ended the match, but both women recovered and stood up again.

In their encounter, Perez and Giulia engaged in a series of blows. Later, Giulia used headbutts against Perez followed by tossing her around and sending her crashing to the floor with a powerful blow. Giulia managed to apply a hammerlock and executed a suplex, but Perez retaliated with more punches to Giulia’s face. Despite this, Giulia responded with several blows of her own, only to be pushed away and thrown out onto the floor soon afterward.

Close Calls

In the ring, Perez pushed Giulia back towards the center and aimed for a high move, but Giulia retaliated with a powerful kick to his face. Climbing up, Giulia executed an underhook superplex and attempted a pin, only for Perez to escape. Trying to apply a submission hold, Giulia found herself thwarted when Perez turned it into a near pin instead. Perez once more went for the crossface maneuver and succeeded this time, preventing Giulia from reaching the ropes at the bottom.

Later on, Giulia retaliated with a crossface maneuver, but Perez reached the bottom rope to free himself from her grip. Perez was slammed hard, dodged a kick, and almost secured a victory. Perez attempted Pop Rocks next, but Giulia reacted swiftly, only to be struck by a knee strike that led to an attempt at pinning down Perez. However, Perez managed to escape this predicament as well.

In a swift exchange, Giulia aimed to smash the Champ, but her move was countered, resulting in her hitting the Pop Rocks instead. However, Giulia skillfully dodged a pin by tumbling out of the ring. Later on, Giulia performed the Northern Lights slam outside the ring, leaving both combatants stunned as the count reached 7. As they rose to their feet just before the count hit 10, Perez retreated back outside.

In a dramatic turn of events, Perez made her way to claim the freshly-won Championship and paraded it in the ring. Meanwhile, an individual with a mask attacked Giulia violently on the floor and shoved her back into the ring, all under the cover of the referee’s distraction. Subsequently, Perez struck Pop Rocks once more, securing another victory and maintaining her NXT Women’s Championship. As the mystery figure removed her hood, she was unveiled as Cora Jade – a past ally and adversary – who had just aided Perez in successfully defending her Title.
