Remnant 2: How to Get Redeemer Secret Weapon | The Dark Horizon

As an old-time Remnant veteran who’s seen more than a few Vaults of the Formless and fought my fair share of Teleport Fae, I can assure you that getting your hands on the Redeemer secret weapon from Spark is no small feat! But fear not, young adventurer, for I’ve trodden this path before you.

The Redeemer is a secret weapon added to Remnant 2 thanks to its final DLC, The Dark Horizon.

To get the Redeemer, you’ll need to find and help a charming robot called Spark. However, helping Spark will have you collecting quest items from all of the other worlds in the game, including multiple variations of each one. Be warned, this is a long process to complete!

Should you not be deterred, please continue reading as we’ll provide all the essential information needed to fulfill Spark’s mission and obtain the Redeemer.

In Remnant 2: The Dark Horizon, you’ll discover the Redeemer’s hidden weapon, the Monorail rifle, by finishing Spark’s questline – a point we previously discussed. For your initial step, conquer Alepsis-Taura, the final boss of the DLC’s additional content. It’s worth mentioning that you can engage the boss head-on without weakening it beforehand if you prefer a more direct approach. In fact, taking this aggressive route will unlock the secret Monorail rifle!

After defeating Alepsis-Taura, your next destination is the Withered Necropolis in N’erud. There, you will encounter Spark, a delightful little robot, whom you should seek out.

She can appear in any of the three designated areas, and the spot where she initially appears is chosen at random. Unfortunately, since her location changes every time the game restarts, you’ll have to investigate each possible spot to locate her.

The first potential spot is near the Waylaid Conservatory World Stone.

Simply head towards the stairs next to the gardener, then look for her standing by the nearby wall.

The second location is down a hallway that’s accessible via a Glider stationed nearby the Run-Down Auditorium where the World Stone is placed.

If you’ve already grabbed the Nanoplated Armor set, it’s the opposite room near there.

The third potential location is near the locked door in the clearing, close to where you find The Warden and the Nanoplated Armor set.

Spark can appear right outside the door, out in the open area.

Once you locate Spark, feel free to chat with her and share exciting stories about our beautiful planet, Earth. I also encourage you to extend an invitation for her to visit the vibrant neighborhood of Ward 13.

Once our discussion is over, please make your way back to Ward 13. You’ll spot Spark, quite nearby Dwell’s store, with the World Stone not far off.

From here on, things become more challenging. To obtain the mysterious Redeemer weapon from Spark, you must purchase every one-of-a-kind item she offers. This task requires you to collect various quest items scattered across all the worlds in Remnant 2 up to The Dark Horizon. Keep in mind that you’ll have to revisit and re-roll some worlds several times to gather all the necessary quest items, making this a rather tedious process.

In addition, you’ll discover that you must acquire unique materials known as Alloys. These Alloys can be found sporadically from enemies across the three primary realms (Yaesha, N’erud, and Losomn). It is only after you’ve obtained the Alloy Extractor, which you get by conversing with Spark at Ward 13, that they will start dropping. These Alloys function much like other in-game currencies, as they will shine gold when dropped by enemies.

As for where to get each Alloy type, here’s how they’re spread:

  • Alien Alloys – Dropped by enemies in N’erud.
  • Ancient Alloy – Dropped by enemies in Yaesha.
  • Mythril Alloy – Dropped by enemies in Losomn.

Here’s your task: You need to revisit areas to gather quest items and slay as many foes as you can for their Alloys. Afterward, utilize these Alloys to purchase all the Rings and Amulets available from Spark’s shop.

This distinctive handgun features an exclusive modification known as Aftermath. By using a Relic, the Redeemer saves the effect of the Relic. When activated, this mod causes the Redeemer to release the saved Relic effect in a burst of payload within 4 meters when it strikes a human teammate. If there are no allies nearby, the mod remains idle for 15 seconds, but will activate once a teammate gets close enough, emitting a burst.
