From the first time I watched SpongeBob navigate the underwater city of Bikini Bottom, I was hooked. Now, Nickelodeon and Paramount are taking it to another level with “The Krabby Patty Kollab.
In commemoration of its 25th anniversary, the beloved cartoon character SpongeBob SquarePants is set to make Krabby Patties a tangible reality. First airing on Nickelodeon on July 17, 1999, the franchise has since produced numerous episodes, specials, films, video games, and other merchandise. To mark this significant milestone, SpongeBob SquarePants has been extending its reach into the real world over the past year, with SpongeBob and Patrick hosting events like the Super Bowl and Kids’ Choice Awards. Now, fans will have the opportunity to enjoy a Krabby Patty just like SpongeBob does!
In honor of SpongeBob SquarePants’ 25th anniversary, Nickelodeon and Paramount have unveiled “The Krabby Patty Kollab,” a unique initiative. Starting from October 8th, this project will feature Krabby Patty-inspired dishes at various restaurants nationwide. A variety of chefs will offer their own interpretations of the iconic Krabby Patty, with menu items ranging from dumplings and falafel to burgers, doughnuts, ice cream, and more. What Is The Krabby Patty Collab?
From October 8th until the 27th, eateries taking part in over 250 locations in cities like New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta, San Francisco, Seattle, Miami, Las Vegas, Toronto, London, and Mexico City will each create their unique versions of the iconic Krabby Patty from the show. Nickelodeon and Paramount have partnered with Off The Menu and The MRG Group to bring this exciting collaboration to life. You can find a complete list of participating restaurants here. This joint effort is also set to hit Wendy’s restaurants as well.
In partnership with Nickelodeon and Paramount, Wendy’s restaurants based in the U.S., Canada, and Guam will introduce their unique version of the “Krabby Patty Collaboration” Burger, accompanied by a Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty, until early November. This means that even though fans can’t physically visit the special locations to witness a new Krabby Patty variant, they can still enjoy the authentic dish at Wendy’s. This is yet another exciting project in a lineup of special events and more, as SpongeBob SquarePants marks its significant 25th anniversary with Nickelodeon and Paramount.
What’s Next for SpongeBob’s 25th Anniversary?
In an upcoming celebration marking its 25th anniversary, “SpongeBob SquarePants” will air a chilling one-hour special ideal for Halloween, named “Kreepaway Kamp.” The story unfolds with SpongeBob and his friends visiting Kamp Koral for a reunion. However, they soon find themselves pursued by an enigmatic figure hiding in the darkness. As the campers mysteriously vanish one after another, our heroes must uncover the source of the eerie events. The “Kreepaway Kamp” special is set to debut on Nickelodeon and Paramount+ in the United States on Thursday, October 10th at 7 p.m., with further releases in other territories later this year.
