EastEnders airs chaotic David Wicks comeback in early iPlayer release

As a long-time viewer of EastEnders, I must say that the return of David Wicks feels like a breath of fresh air. The character has always been one of my favorites due to his complex nature and Michael French’s brilliant portrayal. But what really grabbed my attention this week was the storyline involving Bianca Jackson.

⚠️ Heed this notice: The upcoming EastEnders episode, set to air on iPlayer and BBC One this coming Thursday, 3rd October, includes plot twists that may spoil your viewing experience. Proceed with caution if you wish to avoid these revelations!

Michael French’s character, David Wicks, is coming back to EastEnders before the upcoming intense episodes. Upon his arrival, he found his daughter, Bianca Jackson (played by Patsy Palmer), in a state of intoxication and disarray.

Bianca’s psychological state is deteriorating, and it isn’t improved by her obsession that Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman) might be a murderer – despite the fact that her suspicions about him are actually correct in secret.

While Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) asked Bianca to halt her fight against Reiss, Kat’s nephew Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier) noticed characteristics of ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) in Bianca, as he was diagnosed with the same condition last year.

During the ongoing episode of the BBC soap opera, Bianca faced off with Reiss yet again, this time over the fact that he allowed Sonia Fowler (played by Natalie Cassidy) to take responsibility for the murder of his wife Debbie (Jenny Meier), even though she was pregnant at the time.

Reiss threw back some hurtful insults, before nastily warning Bianca to stay out of his way.

B organized certain matters using the telephone, choosing not to answer a call from her former spouse Ricky Butcher (Sid Owen), who Kat had contacted earlier in the week out of worry.

Freddie approached Bianca, describing his trouble focusing and hyperfixation on certain things.

When he proposed the idea that she could possibly have Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Bianca chuckled and countered by mentioning her occasional impulsiveness, but emphasized that she didn’t believe she actually had the disorder.

Later, Kat could be spotted talking on the phone, insisting that the person hasten their journey to Walford and warning them that Bianca was “about to explode.

At a gathering aimed at supporting “Save Our Sonia”, Bianca distributed a set of bright pink, high-visibility jackets adorned with a motto. However, when Reiss and the others disapproved, Bianca became upset and angrily stormed off, eventually spending the evening drinking in The Queen Vic.

Bianca ended up in a heap of trash after being kicked out for being unkind to Kojo Asare (Dayo Koleosho) and getting dumped by her past romantic interest, Junior Knight (Micah Balfour).

At that exact instant, as she stepped out of the cab, there stood Bianca’s long-absent father, David, visibly shocked by Bianca’s appearance.

Can David help B in her time of need?

EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday at 7:30pm on BBC One and from 6am on BBC iPlayer.
