From its humble beginnings in 2016 to its current status as one of the most popular multiplayer horror games, DBD has consistently offered an unparalleled survival experience that few other titles can match.

One of the most widely-enjoyed multiplayer horror games is Dead By Daylight (DBD), which boasts a multitude of iconic horror characters. Excitingly, the much-loved 2v8 game mode is making its return in DBD, providing fans with another thrilling experience to enjoy.

In this section, we’ll delve into all the details about its upcoming arrival, the exact date of its landing, what features we can anticipate in this new version, as well as some enlightening comments from the creators that provide additional insights.

2016 marked the debut of this game, and since then, its fan base has steadily expanded. Over the years, new figures like Chucky, the Xenomorph, Pinhead, and others have been consistently introduced to the game.

Now let’s get into it.

When does 2v8 return to Dead by Daylight? Date confirmed

As a thrilled fan, I’m excited to share that starting from November 12th, Tuesday, my favorite character, 2v8, will grace the screens of Dead by Daylight (DBD) once again! This time, he’ll be sticking around for a full two weeks, leaving us on the 26th November. The experience promises to be more exhilarating than ever before, as the mode is packed with an unprecedented number of Killers and Maps!

It’s unfortunate that the event is limited to just a few weeks this time, but rest assured, it will likely reoccur in the future, making it something special whenever it happens.

Justin Brown, DBD’s Product Director, expressed that the team was really looking forward to observing the community’s response upon the initial launch of 2v8,” said he.

“We’re releasing a new version of this product according to this schedule because we are eager to see it returned to the hands of our players again.

We aim to avoid making players wait six months before they can play again, and we also seek immediate responses regarding further improvements. Moving ahead, we’re looking to maintain this continuous feedback loop.

This lends itself to the idea we will see the game mode again in the future.
