That Wasn't Jack Nicholson at Paris Fashion Week—It Was A Drag Queen

As an ardent fan of the dramatic arts, I must confess that Alexis Stone’s impersonations have left me utterly spellbound! His transformation into Jack Nicholson at Balenciaga’s Paris Fashion Week show was nothing short of a masterpiece. It wasn’t just the physical resemblance that took my breath away, but the intricate attention to detail that brought the legend to life.

When it comes to Jack Nicholson impersonations, Alexis Stone’s is as good as it gets.

Ultimately, the drag performer made an appearance during Balenciaga’s Paris Fashion Week event on September 30, embodying the physical structure of the actor from “The Shining.

The individual, who has recently portrayed characters such as Miranda Priestly from Meryl Streep’s “The Devil Wears Prada” and Shrek, was spotted outside the Balenciaga show wearing a robe by the brand, accompanied by some of Jack’s trademark items: a bottle of gin and a cigar.

At the event, the performance artist shared a seat with a roster of well-known personalities such as Nicole Kidman, Katy Perry, Salma Hayek, and Lindsay Lohan. Stone underwent an extensive transformation that required six hours to complete – this involved applying full-face and neck prosthetics along with custom-made false teeth, capturing Jack’s iconic look from the 1990s and early 2000s.

Stone specifically selected a scent that reminded him of the odor he envisioned for the 87-year-old, which he described as similar to a damp ashtray when he spoke with The New York Times.

Since donning the Robin Williams’ Mrs. Doubtfire costume in 2022, Stone (originally known as Elliot Joseph Rentz) has consistently amazed fashion week spectators. This is while collaborating with Balenciaga’s creative director Demna and his partner, BFRND, on deciding who to portray in future events.

In simpler terms, Stone said to the New York Times that he doesn’t think of himself as a troublemaker or a jokester. However, he finds it amusing to be part of an event where many people are focused on appearing their best while pretending to be someone else.

Regarding Jack’s sentiments towards the tribute, it’s not often that the actor from “Something’s Gotta Give” is spotted in public – his last appearance was back in 2010. Consequently, it wasn’t surprising that Stone didn’t expect an immediate response from the Academy Award winner.

The 30-year-old stated to The New York Times, “I don’t anticipate receiving a call from Jack. I simply find him an incredible and bold visual character.
