In the realm of Throne & Liberty, I’ve come across numerous crafting materials, yet none have proven as elusive as Magithread. Finding this enigmatic material can be quite the challenge!
With Magithread, you can create an array of armor sets infused with magic. Given its abilities, Magithread is greatly desired in Solisium, yet it’s not easy to obtain. In the traditional style of MMORPG games, you’ll need to put in some serious effort to gather it!
In this guide, we’ll tell you how to get your hands on this extremely useful crafting material.
How to Get Magithread | Throne & Liberty
To start off, let’s make clear that in Throne & Liberty, there are various levels or categories of Magithread. Here they are, listed from the most frequently encountered to the scarcest:
- Magithread
- Quality Magithread
- Rare Magithread
- Precious Magithread
As a gamer, I find it odd that the supposedly common Magithread is proving to be the toughest one to obtain. No matter how many battles I fight, I can’t seem to get my hands on it by defeating enemies in this game.
Instead of acquiring Magithread directly, you can obtain it by exchanging Selection Chests, which become available when you accomplish quests and contracts. These chests are automatically given to you as you play the game normally. To redeem them for Magithread, simply click on the chest-like icon next to Magithread while viewing a crafting recipe that necessitates it.
Farming Higher Tier Magithread
Alternatively, you can just skip the basic Magithread if you don’t really need it. Instead, go straight to farming Quality Magithread. However, you can’t disassemble Quality Magithread into Magithread. Nonetheless, Quality Magithread is a drop from common enemies such as Blackhowl Wolves, Brutal Wolves, and Goblin Butchers.
You can then also use 5 Quality Magithreads to craft 1 Rare Magithread, if needed. Similarly, you can use 5 Rare Magithreads to craft 1 Precious Magithread. You just can’t disassemble them into lower tier versions.
For now, the most straightforward location to gather Quality Magithread is the Blackhowl Plains. You’ll find that both the Brutal and Blackhowl Wolves in this area drop the required material. However, be prepared for a lengthy process as the drop rate is quite low. To make it less tedious, consider participating in regional events such as the Wolf Hunting Contest or completing Exploration Codex tasks like the “Plain-Running Hunter” while you farm. These activities will help alleviate the monotony of the task!
At around Level 50 and above, you’ll be able to gather Scarce and Valuable Magithreads from Marshark foes. These creatures dwell in the Silent Swamp area, where they can drop rarer varieties of Magithread.
