As a seasoned gamer with decades of wrestling-themed video games under my belt, I must say that the partnership between WWE and Netflix is music to my virtual ears! Growing up, I vividly remember waiting in anticipation for the weekly episodes of Raw, only to be left hanging if I missed an episode. Now, thanks to this deal, I can finally watch every single episode without worrying about missing a beat – or a punch, as it were.

Starting in January, the world’s top sports-entertainment company, WWE, has signed a ten-year agreement with Netflix, the leading global streaming service. This collaboration will bring their flagship show, WWE Monday Night Raw, to Netflix, with both parties expressing great excitement about this partnership. In the future, Netflix aims to host all of WWE’s content, including monthly premium live events. Currently, Peacock is the exclusive domestic broadcaster for the WWE tape library and monthly premium live events, but Netflix has already begun international streaming, as evidenced by WWE Bad Blood, their next premium live event, set to stream on Netflix in Brazil.

Overseas markets are getting into the WWE x Netflix party a little early.

Starting from January, WWE will be available in approximately 80% of the world. I was recently informed that January 3rd marks the global launch of WWE on Netflix, and here in the US, Raw will join Netflix on January 6th. This is a massive expansion, something we’ve never experienced before.

International Netflix users get a three-day advantage over U.S. viewers when it comes to streaming content, as they can start watching the live stream of “WWE Monday Night Raw” from January 6th, 2025, ahead of their American counterparts.

Netflix Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria expressed her enthusiasm upon acquiring WWE Raw, which boasts a massive, dedicated fan base that spans generations.
