As a seasoned gamer who has seen his fair share of anime battles and emotional rollercoasters, I must say that the latest episode of My Hero Academia left me utterly spellbound! The evolution of Ochaco Uraraka’s quirk was nothing short of breathtaking.

My Hero Academia is now one step closer to bringing Season 7 of the anime to an end, and the penultimate episode of the season brought Ochaco Uraraka to the next level with a full quirk evolution. My Hero Academia Season 7 is nearing the final episode of its run for the extended Summer, and with it fans have gotten to see some of the final fights between the heroes and villains coming to their respective ends. Following the Todoroki Famiy’s successful defeat of Dabi before things got even worse, Himiko Toga felt more of it all on top of her shoulders.

Toga finds herself in a complex situation: she aims to uphold Twice’s legacy as part of her revenge, yet struggles to fully wield his powers as effectively as anticipated. As she reconsiders her feelings for the League of Villains members and realizes she’s not as attached to them as she once believed, Toga grapples with a complex emotional turmoil. Ochaco tirelessly attempts to connect with Toga in search of common ground, which leads to a significant emotional and physical transformation within Ochaco that elevates her quirk to an unprecedented level of power during their confrontation.

What Happens in My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 20?

In Season 7 Episode 20 of My Hero Academia, Ochaco’s battle against Toga persists, with Toga having amassed an ever-growing horde of duplicates she’s created throughout the vicinity. The heroes grapple with finding a strategy to tackle this multitude of enemies, yet Ochaco remains fixated on the genuine Toga. After witnessing her wield this ability and its emotional impact, Ochaco became convinced that she had finally grasped Toga’s intentions. Despite it taking some effort to empathize with the villain, Ochaco realized that beneath her malevolent actions lies a wounded girl striving to protect those she cherishes.

Through their last encounters, Ochaco has come to realize that Toga is essentially no different from herself – a girl yearning for love. However, her affection was misconstrued, leading her down a path to villainy. Toga seeks love and to be loved in return, and Ochaco tries to fulfill this need through their struggle. Ochaco senses that she stands on the precipice of reaching Toga, as Toga has also harbored feelings for Ochaco. The hero remains resolute, pushing back against all the Toga clones produced by her quirk during their battle.

What Happens to Ochaco?

Through a crowd of Twice duplicates, Ochaco valiantly presses on, only to be struck by Toga in her chest. Injured and with Toga intent on ending her life, Ochaco continues to show compassion and support towards Toga. In the face of adversity, she extends her hand to Toga, pushing herself to the very edge. This extreme effort leads to an evolution in Ochaco’s quirk – now not just those she has physically touched, but also those connected to them, start floating when they touch her. As long as they are in contact with her, they remain suspended in mid-air.

In a new turn of events, Ochaco employs her newly acquired quirk ability, which serves as another bonding point between her and Toga. As Toga contemplates her own quirk evolution during a critical moment, she recognizes a similarity between herself and Ochaco. This realization allows Toga to truly see the real Ochaco for the first time. Both girls find themselves in complex circumstances, yearning for affection rather than suffering. Interestingly, even with Ochaco’s evolved quirk, there is no trace of pain involved, which appears to have penetrated Toga’s protective facade.
