WWE's The Rock Makes Shocking Return at Bad Blood

As a seasoned gamer who’s been through the highs and lows of wrestling universes, I must say, WWE Bad Blood was a rollercoaster ride that left me on the edge of my seat! The Hell in a Cell match between Drew McIntyre and CM Punk was a spectacle to behold, but the real showstopper was none other than The Rock’s grand return.

The WWE event Bad Blood kicked off with an intense Hell in a Cell match between Drew McIntyre and CM Punk, setting a high bar for the rest of the show. However, WWE managed to surpass expectations with additional surprises. One of these was the comeback of The Rock within the main event, where Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes formed an unexpected duo against Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu from The Bloodline. At the end of the match, The Rock reappeared, giving a single sign, but then counted to four, hinting at a potential role in Survivor Series that we’ll need to watch unfold.

A Shocking Return

As a devoted fan, I must admit, ever since WrestleMania, The Rock has been MIA. His last performance graced Monday Night Raw, where he unexpectedly barged in on Cody Rhodes and delivered a fiery promo to the current Undisputed WWE Champion. The Rock hinted that he’d be taking some time off, but subtly planted seeds for his comeback. Make no mistake, when he does return, it will be to settle scores with Rhodes, regardless of whether he retains the championship or not.

During WWE Raw, The Rock communicated to the audience, “I need to step away for a while now, but I don’t want to go. When I return, it doesn’t matter if you’re the champion or not, I’ll be targeting each one of you.” Rhodes responded gracefully, and the curiosity grew about when The Rock would make his comeback. Now, we finally know the date, and true to his word, he’s making his grand return.

What’s Next For The Rock

With The Rock returning, it looks like his character is set to become intertwined with the ongoing storyline of The Bloodline. However, it’s unclear at this point how he will fit into the narrative given that the current incarnation of The Bloodline, led by Sikoa, is quite distinct from the one where The Rock once belonged. It’s uncertain if The Rock will ally with Reigns or recognize the merit in what Sikoa has established so far. As it stands, he appears to be standing alone for now.
