Hunter x Hunter Finally Returns After 90 Week Hiatus: Read

As a seasoned gamer of manga and anime who has been following Yoshihiro Togashi’s masterpiece, Hunter x Hunter since its inception, I must say that the return of this epic series after yet another lengthy hiatus is akin to finding a hidden treasure chest at the end of a grueling gaming quest. The anticipation and excitement that come with each new chapter release are reminiscent of the thrill I get from defeating a formidable boss in a game, only to be rewarded with rare loot or powerful items.

Hunter x Hunter is finally back with a brand new chapter after a nearly 90 week long hiatus, so it’s time to jump back into the classic manga series. Yoshihiro Togashi’s Hunter x Hunter series is no stranger to taking long hiatuses in between chapters due to Togashi’s poor health. After returning for ten new chapters of the series back in 2022, Shueisha had announced that Togashi would be entering a new hiatus for the series again. Following the creator’s returning to work on the manga earlier in the year, fans are now getting to see the fruit of that labor with a brand new entry.

Since the publication of Chapter 400 in December 2022, there has been no new content for “Hunter x Hunter”, marking approximately 90 weeks without a fresh installment. This wait isn’t the longest break between releases (the previous hiatus lasted four years), so fans were prepared to endure if needed. However, as Shueisha collaborates with Togashi and prioritizes his health, the series is transitioning into an unusual release pattern, with “Hunter x Hunter” progressing through the Succession Contest and beyond.

Hunter x Hunter Reveals New Manga Schedule

In the latest edition of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from Shueisha, Chapter 401 of “Hunter x Hunter” is out now, available through Viz Media’s digital library. Simultaneously, Shueisha has adjusted the manga’s publication schedule to accommodate Yoshihiro Togashi’s health. As previously mentioned when “Hunter x Hunter” was on hiatus in 2022, Togashi will return to work at a non-weekly pace for the manga. Shueisha intends to release new chapters as they are completed by Togashi, rather than adhering to a weekly schedule.

As a passionate fan myself, I’m thrilled to share some exciting news about “Hunter x Hunter”. Previously, Shueisha announced a change in its publication schedule for the manga. After consulting with Togashi-sensei regarding his health, they’ve decided that instead of weekly serialization, future chapters will be released in a different format. Rest assured, Togashi-sensei is still working on the upcoming chapters, and Shueisha’s editorial team will continue to provide their support until the manga is complete. While the release schedule may not be regular, fans can look forward to new chapters being published!

What Happens in Hunter x Hunter Chapter 401?

In Chapter 401 of Hunter x Hunter, we delve deeper into the Succession Contest arc’s pivotal phase. Previously, chapters 391-400 unraveled the Phantom Troupe’s covert activities aboard the Black Whale ship en route to the Dark Continent. This time around, however, we shift our attention back to Kurapika, who navigates through the intricate web of secrecy and power plays inherent in the Succession Contest. Every move he makes must be executed surreptitiously, without arousing any undue suspicion.

As a gamer, I can’t help but be thrilled by the latest twist in Hunter x Hunter! It turns out that beyond the legendary Netero, there are numerous secret offspring, and one of them is right smack in the middle of the Succession Contest. This revelation is adding layers upon layers to this deadly game of cat and mouse. Togashi, the creator, needs to take care of his health while keeping the storyline fresh. Fans, like me, are more than ready to wait as long as it takes if it means Togashi remains in tip-top shape for this epic tale.
