As a long-time fan of heartwarming and visually stunning indie games, I couldn’t be more thrilled about the upcoming release of “Neva” by Nomada Studio! Having played and fallen in love with their previous masterpiece, “Gris,” I’ve been eagerly waiting for another emotional journey set in a beautifully crafted world.
In August, it was announced by Nomada Studio (the developer) and Devolver Digital (the publisher) that the side-scrolling platforming adventure game “Neva” would be launched in October. As its launch is just about a week away, additional details regarding the game’s release have surfaced.
Via Twitter, Nomada Studio revealed that alongside its upcoming launch, the game Neva will be playable on PS4 and Mac systems as well. Earlier, it was unclear if the title would support Sony or Microsoft’s last-generation consoles. For now, there’s no word on potential future availability of the game on Xbox One.
As a thrilled fan, I’ll be stepping into the world of Alba, a young woman accompanied by her lifelong wolf companion, embarking on an unforgettable journey reminiscent of Nomada Studio’s masterpiece Gris. This game promises to captivate me with its intricate puzzles, platforming challenges, stunning visuals, and heart-gripping storytelling, much like its predecessor did!
Neva will launch on October 15 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Mac.
