As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my gaming belt, I can confidently say that the arrival of Season 13 in Overwatch 2 is like a sweet symphony to my ears! The prospect of Halloween-themed maps and the return of Junkenstein’s Revenge has me more excited than a kid on Christmas eve.
Overwatch 2’s Halloween celebrations are kicking off a bit early, starting with Season 13, Spellbinder, which begins on October 15th. A gameplay trailer for this season will be released on October 10th. Apart from the reappearance of Halloween-themed maps, details about what this season has in store are still under wraps.
Following our customary practice, we’re likely to bring back Junkenstein’s Revenge, a cooperative game mode featuring pre-selected heroes, each with their own unique background stories and corresponding skins. In addition to the available paid cosmetics, the Premium Battle Pass will bring new Halloween-themed costumes during the season. This package is expected to include a rare Mythic skin, but the character it’s for remains a secret. Moreover, starting from October 17th, there will be a collaboration with My Hero Academia, a popular anime series.
