As I delve deeper into the captivating world of Dancing with the Stars, I can’t help but marvel at the diverse and extraordinary backgrounds of these contestants! It seems like the producers have truly outdone themselves this season.

Phaedra Parks wants Gene Simmons to check that.

The star from “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” didn’t mince words about the “Kiss” band member’s rating of five out of ten for her and partner Val Chmerkovskiy’s Rock N’ Roll dance on “Dancing With the Stars”. In simpler terms, she was not shy in expressing her displeasure about the score given to their dance performance.

She shared with Page Six in the ballroom on October 8th that she greatly enjoyed the routine. “I believe we performed well,” she added, “despite Gene Simmons occasionally behaving boorishly.

Even though the rocker guest judge awarded a moderate score during Hair Metal night on October 8th, judges Carrie Ann Inaba and Derek Hough still gave the performance a 7. Phaedra playfully teased Gene, saying, “I guess he didn’t prefer short Black women.” in a light-hearted manner.

Simultaneously, Val, whom Phaedra highlighted as an “excellent” mentor, quipped with a hint of sarcasm, “It’s always delightful to have an additional judge in the dance studio.

Despite the fact that Phaedra and Val managed to stay in the series despite their poor scoring performance, it was Reginald VelJohnson and Eric Roberts, along with their partners Emma Slater and Britt Stewart, who were eliminated instead – a decision that didn’t sit well with Phaedra. In truth, many viewers also voiced their displeasure due to Gene’s unprofessional conduct during his guest stint on the show.

One user on X remarks that Gene Simmons’ remarks towards women evoke the awkward vibe of an overly forward uncle at a family reunion, while another says he’s draining the ballroom of its positive energy with his inappropriate comments about the female performers.

During the episode, Gene did, indeed, raise some eyebrows for his feedback burgeoning on innuendo.

He admitted to Danny Amendola and his partner Witney Carson that this was a completely new situation for him, and he found it challenging to determine who among them was the most stunningly attractive. He confessed to Danny, “You’re standing next to one of the most beautiful women on Earth.
