As a seasoned attorney with years of experience under my belt, I cannot help but feel a profound sense of dismay as I witness yet another high-profile figure embroiled in a web of sexual assault allegations. The sheer volume of accusations against Diddy is staggering, and the gravity of the claims – ranging from violent sexual assault to the abuse of minors – is truly heart-wrenching.

The federal case against Sean “Diddy” Combs is moving forward.

Just over three weeks since the moment my idol, the rapper, was taken into custody at a NYC hotel for allegations of racketeering, sex trafficking, and soliciting prostitution using transportation, I found myself in court, standing before a judge during a status hearing on October 10th.

In the court proceeding, Judge Arun Subramanian, who recently took over the case from Andrew L. Carter Jr., has scheduled a trial for May 5, 2025. The next meeting is set for December, and both parties will have until February to file any motions.

The hearing comes just one day after lawyers for Combs filed a new appeal seeking bail for the rapper—who has remained in custody at Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York for three weeks—arguing that concerns he would “intimidate” witnesses for the upcoming trial were “unfounded,” according to documents viewed by TopMob News.

On October 9, a filing was submitted stating that the rejection of Combs’ earlier bail appeal by Judge Carter was based more on speculation rather than solid evidence suggesting he would impede his ongoing criminal investigation. Lawyers Alexandra A.E. Shapiro and Jason A. Driscoll further contended that the rapper’s recent travel to New York to address his legal matters, coupled with their proposed monitoring measures (such as restricting phone, internet, and even video surveillance access when required) outside of custody, would strengthen Combs’ case for release from jail. They emphasized that their client is considered innocent until proven guilty.

The document stated, “He went above and beyond to prove his intention to stand trial and challenge the accusations, rather than escape. He offered a bail arrangement that clearly prevented him from causing harm to anyone or getting in touch with potential witnesses.

Despite the appeal, Judge Subramanian stated that Combs will remain in custody during the Oct. 10 hearing.

According to a federal indictment released following his September 16th arrest, as reported by TopMob News, Combs stands accused of involvement in extended sexual shows known as “Freak Offs”. During these events, prosecutors claim that the 54-year-old organized, controlled, masturbated during, and frequently recorded the performances electronically.

The court document alleges that Combs is charged with distributing multiple types of controlled substances, some of which were used to ensure the victims remained obedient and compliant. Additionally, it’s claimed that he resorted to using force, threats of violence, and coercion to persuade victims into performing prolonged sexual acts with male sex workers in commercial settings.

In line with the more recent accusations and claims against me, I have pleaded ‘not guilty’ and continue to uphold my innocence.

Following the initial arrest of the founder of Bad Boy Entertainment, attorney Mark Agnifilo requested that people refrain from jumping to conclusions and instead wait for all the facts to be presented.

He pointed out that such actions suggest a guiltless individual who has no secrets. He’s eager to prove his innocence in the upcoming trial.

Since his September 16th arrest, the rapper will continue to be detained at the Brooklyn jail up until his court trial on May 5th.

Meanwhile, his legal troubles have continued to stack up.

In September, another lawsuit was filed by a woman over the age of 18 but under the age of 55—identified as Jane Doe—alleging that the music mogul had repeatedly assaulted her over a four-year period beginning in 2020, saying she became pregnant after one instance (although she suffered a miscarriage).

In less than a week’s time, another lawyer, Tony Buzbee, emerged with approximately 120 fresh accusations of sexual assault against the rapper. He mentioned his intention to initiate lawsuits over the course of the next month.

At a press conference held on October 1st, Buzbee mentioned that more than 3,000 people had previously voiced their concerns. He stated that the accusations against his client involve acts such as violent sexual assault or rape, offering drugs to facilitate sex, distributing recorded videos, and abusing minors in a sexual manner.

To clarify, the lawyer stated that out of the 120 accusations he received, a quarter came from individuals who were minors during the event in question. He further emphasized, “Regardless of whom the evidence points towards, we will diligently pursue this case.

In light of the escalating accusations directed at their client, one of Diddy’s attorneys, Erica Wolff, underscored that they cannot respond to every unfounded allegation.

In her statement to TopMob News, she clarified that due to the excessive and baseless claims made in what’s turning into a sensational media frenzy, Mr. Combs’ legal team can’t respond to every unfounded allegation. However, it is important to note that Mr. Combs firmly and absolutely denies any accusations of sexual misconduct, particularly those involving minors, as he considers these claims to be both false and defamatory.

Federal agents from Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) carried out searches at the residences of Sean “Diddy” Combs, located in Los Angeles and Miami, on March 25, according to several sources within law enforcement who spoke with NBC News. The warrant was issued by the Southern District of New York, and a representative for HSI New York confirmed to TopMob News that they were executing search warrants as part of an ongoing investigation, with help from HSI offices in Los Angeles, Miami, and local law enforcement partners. At the time of the searches, it was reported that Combs was in the Miami area.

The news emerged concerning an investigation into Combs following accusations of sexual misconduct made by several individuals who filed lawsuits against him starting in November. In a statement posted on Instagram in December, he strongly denied these allegations, stating that they were untrue and that he would fight to protect his name, family, and the truth.

The day after HSI executed the search warrants at Combs’ L.A. and Miami properties, his lawyer spoke out.

“Yesterday, there was a gross overuse of military-level force as search warrants were executed at Mr. Combs’ residences,” attorney Aaron Dyer said in a March 26 statement to TopMob News. “There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated.”

Dyer noted Combs “was never detained but spoke to and cooperated with authorities.”

“Despite media speculation, neither Mr. Combs nor any of his family members have been arrested nor has their ability to travel been restricted in any way,” his lawyer’s statement continued. “This unprecedented ambush—paired with an advanced, coordinated media presence—leads  to a premature rush to judgment of Mr. Combs and is nothing more than a witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits.”

As a die-hard fan, let me tell you, Combs made it crystal clear that he’s ready to defend himself against all accusations levied against him. He emphasized that there’s been no conviction in any criminal or civil case related to these allegations. In fact, he declared his innocence and vowed to keep battling tirelessly each day until his name is cleared of any wrongdoing.

From my perspective as a diligent follower, I can share this: In the course of the investigations, I understand that officials from the Department of Homeland Security seized phones from Combs’ Miami residence prior to his planned trip to the Bahamas, according to several informed law enforcement sources who have knowledge of the warrant. Furthermore, additional sources with relevant insights have conveyed that firearms were uncovered during the search.

One source familiar with the matter also told NBC News three women and one man were interviewed by prosecutors and investigators from the Southern District of New York about allegations of sex trafficking, sexual assault, the solicitation and distribution of illegal narcotics and firearms purportedly tied to Combs.

On the same day that search warrants were executed at Combs’ Miami and Los Angeles properties, one of my associates, Brendan Paul, was apprehended by the Miami-Dade police on suspicion of drug possession, as reported by NBC News. According to the arrest affidavit obtained by the outlet, he was detained for alleged possession of suspected cocaine and marijuana edibles. Prison records show that he was released on bond on March 26. In a statement obtained by the outlet, his attorney, Brian Bieber, said, “We do not intend to try this case in the media; all matters will be resolved in court.” In May, Paul accepted a plea deal, as confirmed by People magazine, with his lawyer Bieber stating, “Brendan agreed to the prosecutor’s offer to enter into a diversion program. Upon completion of this program, the entire case against him will be dismissed.

On September 16, 2024, as reported by NBC News, he was taken into custody in the lobby of a hotel situated in New York City. The specific charges against him remain undisclosed, and it’s uncertain whether his arrest might be linked to any recent raids.

In a statement to TopMob News, lawyer Marc Agnifilo expressed his dismay over the U.S. Attorney’s Office’s decision to pursue what they believe is an unfair prosecution of Mr. Combs. He emphasized that despite being imperfect, Mr. Combs is not a criminal. In fact, he has been fully cooperative with the investigation and even voluntarily moved to New York last week in preparation for these charges.

The lawyer added, “Please reserve your judgment until you have all the facts. These are the acts of an innocent man with nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court.”

Following the arrest of Combs based on a previously sealed indictment, the indictment was made public on September 17.

As reported by NBC News, Combs asserted his innocence and was not granted bail. Prior to the hearing, his lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, expressed to reporters that he will vigorously defend Combs with all his resources, stating, “He’s going to fight this with every ounce of energy and power he has, and we have full faith in his legal team.

After his apprehension, Combs was kept at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center, where he was refused bail set at $50 million. This influential figure in music was also put under suicide precautions, a common practice for high-profile prisoners, as confirmed by a source to TopMob News. However, he has since been removed from this watch.

According to a source, he was given the same section of the prison as Sam Bankman-Fried, who is known for his involvement in cryptocurrency fraud. (NBC News reported this)

34-year-old comedian Jeff Wittek confessed on September 29 that he had been to one of Sean Combs (Diddy)’s “wild” parties, which were dubbed “freak off” events, at a Miami mansion around the year 2010.

On Jeff FM, Wittek expressed that it seemed to be around eight floors tall and continued ascending, and as we climbed higher, things became increasingly strange.

He went on to say, “I witnessed an explicit display of intimacy that evening, which was a first for me. To clarify, I didn’t participate, but I ended up getting quite intoxicated instead.

As Wittek put it, “It’s just crazy. I was literally there. I lived through it.”

In an Oct. 1 press conference, attorney Tony Buzbee detailed that 120 people had come forward with new sexual assault allegations against the rapper.

The allegations against Combs, Buzbee noted in a press conference with NBC News, include, “violent sexual assault or rape, facilitated sex with a controlled substance, dissemination of video recordings, sexual abuse of minors.”

Later on, Erica Wolff’s legal representative made a statement regarding the accusations, stressing that Combs continues to assert his innocence in the matter.

She stated, “He can’t respond to every baseless accusation in what has turned into an irresponsible media spectacle. However, it’s important to note that Mr. Combs strongly and unequivocally refutes any allegations of sexual abuse, claiming they are false and defamatory, even going as far as to deny such claims regarding minors.

At a press conference on October 1st, as reported by NBC News, Tony Buzbee, the accuser’s lawyer, stated that one of the 120 individuals who have made accusations was just 9 years old when they claim to have been assaulted by Combs.

According to the attorney, “25 of the accusers were minors at the time of the alleged incidents.”

Janice’s lawyer, Natlie G. Figgers, conveyed her sentiments to The Hollywood Reporter on Oct. 6, stating, “It is devastating to watch my son being judged not based on truth but on a fabricated story. Witnessing what appears to be a public execution of my son before he can defend himself in court is an agony that defies description. Just like any other individual, my son has the right to stand trial, present his version of events, and clear his name.

As a devoted admirer, I’d like to rephrase the statement in a first-person perspective:

Lawyer Alex Spiro told TMZ on Oct. 9 that “There’s gossip, there’s nonsense, but this goes beyond – it’s a serious and direct allegation.

In simpler terms, Piers was instructed by their lawyer to take down the untrue claim he had made, which he subsequently did and offered an apology.

On his October 8th program, Piers stated that at the time, they weren’t available to counter or refute the allegations. However, their attorney has since reached out to clarify that these accusations are completely unfounded and lack any factual basis.
