Strictly fans praise Sarah Hadland after “beautiful” dance for daughter

As a long-time fan of Strictly Come Dancing and a proud father myself, I must say that this week’s performance by Sarah Hadland truly tugged at my heartstrings. The way she poured her emotions into that Foxtrot with her partner Vito Coppola was simply captivating. It reminded me of the times I dance around the house with my kids, trying to teach them the steps to their favorite songs.

This week, as a devoted Strictly Come Dancing fan, I found myself captivated by Sarah Hadland and her partner Vito Coppola’s mesmerizing Foxtrot performance to Billie Eilish’s Birds of a Feather. In an emotional moment, Sarah shared that this song holds a profound significance for her personally.

Before the dance, Sarah disclosed that the chosen song was one she often sings with her little girl. She added that it would be a delight to demonstrate those feelings during the dance.

Following the performance, Shirley Ballas expressed that she could “absolutely sense the emotional depth” in the dance, whereas Anton Du Beke commented that Shirley dances “gracefully”.

Despite some technical critiques from the judges, spectators swiftly flocked to Twitter, now known as X, to laud Sarah’s heartfelt presentation.

One spectator remarked that Sarah’s dance was “beautiful, indeed,” whereas another couldn’t help but express an almost audible “aww” at certain twirls in her performance.

As a fellow film enthusiast, let me share how elated and emotional I am witnessing Sarah Hadland shine on Strictly Come Dancing. Ever since my childhood, Miranda has been a cherished part of my life, with Sarah’s portrayal of Stevie being particularly endearing. Now, seeing her receive this renewed admiration as an adult, and living life to the fullest, I can’t help but feel deeply moved.

As a passionate moviegoer, let me say that Sarah Hadland’s progression in this contest is absolutely captivating to behold. Her Foxtrot, in my opinion, was nothing short of divine, and the fervor, emotion, and dedication she poured into it were palpable.

In the dance competition, Craig Revel Horwood gave a score of six, Motsi Mabuse awarded a seven, Shirley also gave a seven, and Anton followed suit with another seven. This added up to a total of 27 points for Sarah and Vito.

In another part of this week’s program, Nick Knowles resumed dancing following his absence last week due to an injury, where he executed the dance routine he had missed during Movie Week, which was based on the movie “Paddington 2”.

Strictly Come Dancing continues every Saturday evening.
