Over the span of more than twenty years, Combs, previously known as Puff Daddy, has frequently organized grand events that are typically graced by A-list celebrities.
As a youngster myself, I had the privilege of attending such gatherings, specifically when I was around 16 or 17 years old, as I shared on the October 11th episode of The Breakfast Club podcast during our conversation about ‘Diddy parties’.
The star from Wild N’ Out went on to say, “I can still recall waiting outside, attempting to gain entry to a Puff party right here in New York City.
Over the years, Cannon has been captured on camera at various parties hosted by a record executive, one of which was held in Los Angeles a couple of years ago. He likened these events to the party depicted in Notorious B.I.G.’s 1995 music video “One More Chance,” featuring Combs.
In the late ’90s, it was well-known that Bad Boy parties were happening in New York, as stated by the host of America’s Got Talent. People tend to be hesitant when discussing these events, perhaps due to personal reasons or secrets they don’t want revealed.
Cannon said he didn’t have anything to hide himself. “I was in there Harlem-shaking,” he added, referring to the hip-hop dance, “doing all of that stuff.”
Canon declined to provide further insights into the happenings at the gathering. Moreover, he emphasized that he’s always remained abstinent from alcohol.
“I don’t drink, I don’t do drugs,” he added. “I’ve never been drunk in my life.”

During searches of his homes in Los Angeles and Miami in March, authorities discovered drugs and approximately 1,000 bottles of baby oil.

To my delight, it was announced that a staggering $50 million bond package had been proposed by his legal team! This incredible sum would be secured by equity in his magnificent Miami residence and the property of my beloved Mama back home. Furthermore, the terms restricted Diddy’s travel to specified regions within Florida, New York, and the Garden State of New Jersey – a small price to pay for freedom, I suppose. As an ardent fan, I can hardly contain my excitement as I watch this unfold!
In a letter acquired by TopMob News, the defense proposed to guide the court step-by-step through the actions taken by Mr. Combs during the previous six months, demonstrating that he poses no risk of fleeing or endangering anyone within the community.
In a recent decision, U.S. Magistrate Judge Robyn F. Tarnofsky declined the request for release on bail and chose to keep Combs in custody instead. At present, he is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center located in Brooklyn.
According to NBC New York, Marc Agnifilo, Combs’ lawyer, stated that he is far from being flawless. There have been instances of substance abuse and he’s had some unhealthy relationships.
Consequently, he explained, his client was undergoing “therapy and care for the issues where therapy and care are required.
Despite some challenges, Combs appears to be in high spirits, his lawyer shared with reporters post-court on September 17. He exudes confidence.
Approximately 1,000 bottles of baby oil and personal lubricant were confiscated during the searches of Combs’ homes in Los Angeles and Miami, as indicated by a 14-page indictment that was made public on September 17th.
According to the charges, the oil and lubricant were stored for usage during what Combs referred to as “freak-offs”. These were events where, it’s claimed, he arranged sexual liaisons involving women he manipulated and intimidated, as well as male sex workers.
In the TMZ documentary titled The Downfall of Diddy: The Indictment, his attorney Agnifilo expressed confusion about why there was a need for 1,000 when referring to something specific. He further speculated that given Diddy’s large residence and bulk buying habits, it seemed reasonable to assume he could purchase in bulk from places like Costco, which are available at many of his home locations.
As a devoted follower, I’d like to share that Costco has made it clear they’re not involved with the matter at hand. In their own words, as reported by TMZ, none of their U.S. locations offer baby oil for sale.
In May 2024, CNN released a video from hotel surveillance footage taken in 2016 that seemed to depict Diddy (Puff Daddy, Sean Combs) allegedly assaulting his girlfriend Cassie, whose birth name is Cassandra Ventura. This incident appeared to correspond with the assault claimed in a lawsuit she filed against him on November 16, 2023. The following day, both parties announced they had reached a settlement.
In a video shared on Instagram, Combs expressed his feelings by saying, “I was at my lowest point. I hit rock bottom.” However, he didn’t make any excuses for the unacceptable behavior shown in the footage. He acknowledged that he took full responsibility for his actions in the video. To improve himself, he had been to therapy and rehab and was dedicated to becoming a better person each day.
At a hearing held on September 18th regarding Diddy’s second bail request, Assistant U.S. Attorney Emily Johnson stated (as reported by NBC News), that it was claimed that Diddy sent texts in the aftermath of the assault. One text allegedly said, “Give me a call, the police are here.” Another text read, “I have six children. Call, I’m surrounded.
In the courtroom, Johnson didn’t mention Cassie by name. Instead, she stated that the alleged victim of Combs responded via text message saying, “I find it disturbing that you believe your actions are acceptable.
Bail was once again denied, this time by U.S. District Judge Andrew L. Carter Jr.
On October 3rd, the Combs case was reallocated to Judge Arun Subramanian as Judge Carter couldn’t schedule a trial date at that time.
During an Oct. 10 status hearing, Subramanian set a trial date of May 5, 2025.
Lawyer Johnson informed the judge that the upcoming trial might stretch for approximately three weeks, yet she mentioned that there’s a chance a new indictment could be issued, potentially adding additional charges against Combs.
Agnifilo said in court they’d need about a week to put on their case.
Simultaneously, the lawyer mentioned in a TMZ report that Combs was eager to take the stand and present his case personally.
Agnifilo stated, ‘It’s uncertain if I can prevent him from testifying, he seems quite keen to share his side of things.’
