EastEnders airs dangerous Nish Panesar plot in early iPlayer release

As a long-time fan of EastEnders, I must say, Nish Panesar’s antics never cease to amaze me. It’s like watching a train wreck in slow motion, you know it’s going to be bad, but you just can’t look away.

Once more, the cunning character Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) devises a new plot to cause trouble for his former spouse Suki (Balvinder Sopal) and her partner Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) on EastEnders.

During Suki and Eve’s lavish engagement party at The Albert, a special moment occurred when their son Vinny (Shiv Jalota) announced that, due to Nish’s arrangements, their grandson Tye was going to make his first trip to Walford. This news brought tears of joy to Suki.

In their final moments, Nish’s grandchildren Davinder ‘Nugget’ Gulati (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) and Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James) wished to extend an invitation to Nish for the celebration, but it was only Nish who seemed eager to join the festivities. Others showed little interest.

However, rather than holding a grudge, Eve chose to show understanding, and ultimately agreed that the villain could join them all.

Suki located Nish, and following a remarkably cordial conversation, invited him to participate in the celebrations. Remarkably, Nish and Eve could manage a few polite exchanges, and the atmosphere was unusually tranquil.

As I watched the crowd sway on the dance floor, I nudged Tye aside and whispered, “Your presence here means Suki and Nish will bond, leaving me to observe from afar.

Suki insisted that this would not be the case, and that Tye was going to love spending time with Eve. Pretty soon, Eve agreed, Nish would be gone, and Tye would never even remember his grandfather.

While they chuckled together, Nish found himself simmering with resentment as their laughter seemed to indicate they found his approaching demise amusing.

Later on during their pleasant evening together, Nish mysteriously placed a call for an act of violent aggression, resulting in someone requiring hospitalization.

As Nish stared up at the two women, are the affectionately dubbed ‘Sukeve’ in serious danger?

EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday at 7:30pm on BBC One and from 6am on BBC iPlayer.
