Sony and Ballistic Moon’s remake of “Until Dawn” has struggled to draw a significant audience on both PS5 and PC. However, this horror game is about to have another opportunity to impress, but this time in a new format. The development of a movie based on “Until Dawn” commenced earlier this year and concluded filming approximately a week ago. Now, we finally have a release date for it.
According to Deadline’s report, the movie adaptation of “Until Dawn,” produced by Sony Pictures and Screen Gems, is set for a global theater release on April 25 next year. Known for directing “Shazam!” and “Lights Out,” David F. Sandberg will helm this horror film. The impressive cast includes Maia Mitchell, Belmont Cameli, Ella Rubin, Michael Cimino, Ji-young Yoo, and Odessa A’zion, with Peter Stormare reprising his role as Dr. Hill from the game.
