Unlike other bosses, you don’t stumble upon this pesky foe in the wild; instead, you have to summon him yourself! To do so, you’ll need a rare resource – the Thick Reptilian Tail. Farming this unique item becomes part of the challenge!
In this tutorial, we’ll walk you through the steps required to acquire a robust Lizard-like Tail, which will then enable you to conjure a Reptilian Slaughterer.
Where To Find Reptilian Butcher & Thick Reptilian Tail
First off, let me guide you to your destination: Saurodama Island. There, you’ll be able to summon the Reptilian Butcher and acquire the Thick Reptilian Tail. In case you haven’t discovered it yet, Saurodama Island is nestled at the very southeastern tip of the game map.
Once you reach the island, you can begin your farming process by gathering Slender Lizard Tails. You’ll find these tails dropped from various lizard-like creatures that inhabit the island. After amassing 20 Slender Lizard Tails, they will magically transform into a Thick Lizard Tail automatically.
It’s important to note that you will only be able to hold onto your Reptilian Tails for 10 minutes. This timer will reset each time you collect a tail.
If you’re engaging in a game with multiple participants, the individual who delivers the decisive blow on an opponent will acquire the drop that it leaves behind. It could benefit everyone to have one player gather all of the drops. Battling reptile-like opponents as a team is usually simpler and quicker.
Summoning the Reptilian Butcher
Holding the Thick Tail of the Reptile, you’re able to conjure the Reptilian Slaughterer by igniting the tail over a Brazier of Rebirth. There are several Braziers scattered across this island, so feel free to use any one of them to summon the Reptilian Slaughterer.
Similar to many leaders in the game Throne and Liberty, the Reptilian Butcher is a foe that can be confronted multiple times. Once you’ve summoned it, defeated it, and then moved on, you have the opportunity to start gathering another Thick Reptilian Tail immediately to re-summon the Reptilian Butcher. This creature has the potential to drop rare and highly sought-after items, making it an exceptional boss to farm for these special drops.
