As a passionate admirer of Phasmophobia, I’ve been eagerly awaiting its console debut, which was initially slated for last August by developers Kinetic Games. However, the launch has faced unexpected delays, with the developer announcing earlier this year that we would finally see the co-op horror title on consoles in October. Now, a specific release date has been unveiled!
On October 29, Phasmophobia officially debuts in early access for PS5, PS VR2, and Xbox Series X/S. Notably, this release supports cross-platform multiplayer across all versions, including PC. As previously declared, the game will retail at a cost of $19.99.
Daniel Knight, CEO of Kinetic Games, expressed his delight as Phasmophobia makes its entry into console early access. For quite some time, the gaming community has been eagerly awaiting console versions, and their patience is finally paying off. The dedicated team at Kinetic Games has put in immense effort to make this long-desired wish a reality.
Additionally, it’s worth noting that the game Phasmophobia has surpassed 20 million global sales since its early access release on PC back in September 2020.
