As a seasoned gamer with countless hours spent navigating fantastical realms and battling mythical beasts, I can’t help but be captivated by the upcoming addition to my roster – Vikala from Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising. With her divine rat status and rodent minions, she brings a unique charm to the battlefield that I find irresistible.
On October 25th, Vikala, the upcoming DLC character for Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, has been confirmed by both Cygames and Arc System Works. As the concluding fighter in Character Pass 1 (which can also be purchased separately for $7.99), she is one of the Twelve Divine Generals and exhibits a unique playstyle by shifting between Yin and Yang. Take a look at her gameplay below.
In her divine form, Vikala employs rodents for offensive purposes against foes, yet she’s equipped with more than that. She can deploy a large bear trap on a chain, call upon cannons to attack adversaries, and even create an anti-air defense using a dazzling rainbow. Her Super Skybound Art is a grand spectacle, where she conducts a concert in the sky. Though excessive at times, it maintains a cheerful and endearing quality.
Though Vikala closes out the current pass, Character Pass 2 is also in the works. Its first fighter, Sandalphon, will be out in early 2025. Further details have yet to be confirmed, so stay tuned.
