It’s been officially announced that “Marvel’s Spider-Man 2” is the next significant PlayStation first-party game headed for PC release, and at the same time, Insomniac Games has shared details about the two distinct editions that PC players can choose from when the game becomes available.
Absolutely, there’ll be a Standard Edition available, featuring not just the main game but also all the updates we’ve rolled out in the last year. This package comes with Photo Mode, the ability to replay missions, New Game Plus mode, extra costumes, and lots of additional content.
Apart from the Standard Version, there will also be an enhanced Digital Deluxe Version available. This version offers everything mentioned previously, plus five unique costumes for both Peter Parker and Miles Morales, early access to one costume for each character, early access to a Web Grabber gadget, extra Photo Mode items, and a bonus of 5 in-game skill points. At this time, the pricing information is still undisclosed.
In the meantime, Nixxes Software, the team responsible for porting Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 to PC, is also anticipating offering a collection of upgraded features such as advanced ray-tracing options tailored for diverse setups and configurations.
