Jay Cutler Allegedly Offered Car Crash Driver $2K to Not Call Police

As a lifestyle expert with years of experience in analyzing high-profile figures, I find it deeply concerning to learn about Jay Cutler‘s recent DUI charges and subsequent allegations. The accumulation of such incidents paints a picture that goes beyond the football field and into the realm of personal responsibility.

New allegations surrounding Jay Cutler’s DUI arrest have surfaced.

On October 17th, in Franklin, Tennessee, the NFL player was taken into custody for multiple offenses stemming from a car accident. The charges include driving under the influence (first offense), carrying a handgun while intoxicated, negligent driving, and violating the implied consent law, as reported by authorities. This incident occurred following a minor collision between two vehicles.

A police affidavit acquired by TopMob News on October 17 suggests that the driver of a white Ram, identified as Jay, was accused of rear-ending another vehicle. The person hit claimed that after the incident, Jay offered him $2,000 to refrain from contacting law enforcement and then attempted to leave the scene.

During their conversation with Jay, officers observed that the former Chicago Bears quarterback’s speech was slow and unclear, with a hint of slurring, and his eyes appeared bloodshot. The document states these observations. Jay, who has children Camden (12), Jaxon (10), and Saylor (8) with his ex-wife Kristin Cavallari, reportedly had a strong alcohol scent about him, but initially denied drinking any alcohol. Later, he admitted to having “a small amount.

Initially, Jay declined to take a field sobriety test, but eventually, he allowed his blood to be drawn at Williamson Medical Center, as stated in the affidavit.

During a search of the vehicle belonging to a former star of “Very Cavallari”, police discovered a rifle in the backseat and a handgun loaded with ammunition in the center console, as stated in court documents. Jay was granted bail set at $5,000, and a court hearing concerning this matter has been scheduled for January 16, 2025.

TopMob News has reached out to Jay’s rep but has not heard back.

Lately, Kristin (previously married to Jay from 2013 to 2022) mentioned that their original custody agreement has changed, as she talked about her breakup with Mark Estes.

Kristin shared recently on her “Let’s Be Honest” podcast that when she was dating last fall, she was alternating custody with her ex every week. However, things have changed now and she is delighted with her current lifestyle focused solely on her children and her work.

Previously, the former “Laguna Beach” star has also discussed how issues in her marriage with Jay impacted her wellbeing.

In another episode of “Let’s Be Honest,” she remarked, “When I glance at those old photos from that time, it’s as if I exclaim, ‘Wow!’ I was incredibly thin back then, almost skeletal. I appeared terrible. However, looking back, I think I look so much better now. That was just the strain of being in a very unhappy marriage.
