Sean “Diddy” Combs has been hit with another wave of lawsuits.

In jail, facing charges for racketeering, sex trafficking, and prostitution (which he denies and is scheduled for trial in May), the record executive has been hit with numerous claims, such as repeated instances of rape and sexual assault.

On October 20th, five separate civil lawsuits were lodged against Combs, with two men and three women as the accusers. The accusations made in these suits range from sexual assault to rape, with incidents spanning from the year 2000 to 2022. One of the female plaintiffs anonymously claimed that she was raped by Combs, along with an unidentified male celebrity, when she was only 13 years old.

Based on the document acquired by TopMob News, it is stated that in September 2000, when the plaintiff was thirteen years old, a friend drove her to Radio City Music Hall in New York City, with an intention for her to attempt to secretly enter the MTV Video Music Awards.

Outside the venue, the plaintiff found it impossible to gain entry without a ticket. Instead, she spoke with several limousine drivers waiting outside, one of whom allegedly worked for Combs. As stated in the lawsuit, this driver reportedly informed her that Combs preferred younger women and said, “You are what Diddy is looking for,” encouraging her to return later that night for an after-party event.

On October 20th, Combs’ legal team submitted a petition (which we at TopMob News received) asking the judge to issue an order preventing potential witnesses and their legal representatives from making out-of-court statements that significantly impact Combs’ ability to receive a fair trial.

Lawyer Tony Buzbee, who’s previously brought civil actions against Combs for claimed victims, communicated a statement to NBC News about the latest legal proceedings.

He stated that the accusations in the submitted complaints will serve as their own testimony, and they are committed to ensuring fairness prevails. Additionally, they anticipate submitting new lawsuits on a regular basis, listing Mr. Combs and others among the defendants, as they collect more evidence and ready the legal paperwork.

Following the departure from the gathering, the complainant is said to have arrived at a gas station, allowing her to make contact with her father for assistance.

Regarding the latest submissions, Combs’ legal team directed TopMob News back to an earlier declaration, implying that these numerous filings were aimed at generating attention and publicity.

According to reports from his legal team, Mr. Combs is completely assured about the facts of the case, their defense strategies, and the fairness of the judicial system. They firmly believe that the truth will come out in court – that Mr. Combs has never committed sexual assault against anyone, regardless of age or gender.

On October 20th, Combs’ legal team submitted a request, made available to TopMob News, seeking a court order that would prevent potential witnesses and their attorneys from making any statements outside of court that could significantly impact Combs’ ability to receive a fair trial.

Lawyer Tony Buzbee, who has previously initiated several civil lawsuits against Combs for alleged victims, provided a statement to NBC News regarding the latest filings.

He stated that the accusations in the submitted complaints will serve as their own testimony, and they are committed to ensuring fairness is upheld. Additionally, they anticipate submitting new cases every week, with Mr. Combs and others named as defendants, as they collect more evidence and finalize the court documents.

Following Sean “Diddy” Combs’ not guilty plea on September 17 regarding sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy charges, his legal team put forward a $50 million bond package. This package included ownership shares in his Miami residence and his mother’s home, as well as restrictions on his travel to specific regions within Florida, New York, and New Jersey.

In a letter acquired by TopMob News, the defense proposed to guide the court step-by-step through the actions of Mr. Combs during the previous six months, demonstrating that he is neither a flight risk nor a threat to the safety of the community.

In a recent decision, U.S. Magistrate Judge Robyn F. Tarnofsky turned down the request for release on bond and instructed that Combs should remain in detention with no bail. Currently, he is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.

Approximately 1,000 bottles of baby oil and personal lubricant were confiscated during the search warrants executed at Combs’ houses in Los Angeles and Miami in March 2024, as stated in a 14-page indictment that was made public on September 17.

According to the charges, the oil and lubricant were stored for use during what Combs referred to as “freak-offs” – events where he is accused of arranging sexual liaisons between women he pressured and intimidated, and male sex workers.

In the TMZ documentary titled “The Downfall of Diddy: The Indictment“, which debuted on September 27, his attorney Agnifilo stated that he was puzzled about where the figure of 1,000 originated from, saying, “I wonder why anyone would require so much. He has a large residence and tends to purchase items in bulk. It seems to me there are Costcos at every location where he owns property.

On the other hand, Costco made it clear they were not involved, explaining to TMZ that none of their U.S. locations stock baby oil.

In May of 2024, CNN shared hotel surveillance footage from 2016 that seemed to depict Diddy, also known as Sean Combs, physically attacking his then-girlfriend Cassie, whose birth name is Cassandra Ventura. This incident aligns with an alleged event described in a lawsuit she filed against him on November 16, 2023. Remarkably, both parties announced a settlement the day after the lawsuit was made public.

In a video shared on Instagram, Combs expressed that he found himself at his lowest point, but without making any excuses. The actions seen in the footage were unacceptable, he acknowledged. He took full accountability for his behavior. Since then, he mentioned, he has been attending therapy and rehab sessions and is determined to strive towards becoming a better person each day.

At a September 18th hearing regarding Combs’ second application for bail, Assistant U.S. Attorney Emily Johnson stated (as reported by NBC News) that it was claimed Combs sent texts in the days following the assault. One text said, “Give me a call, the police are here.” Another one read, “I have six children. Call me, I’m surrounded.

In the courtroom, Johnson didn’t mention Cassie by name. Instead, she stated that the victim of Combs responded via text message saying, “I find it disturbing that you think your actions are acceptable.

Bail was once again denied, this time by U.S. District Judge Andrew L. Carter Jr.

On October 3rd, the Combs case was moved to Judge Arun Subramanian’s courtroom as Judge Carter couldn’t schedule a trial date at that time.

During an Oct. 10 status hearing, Subramanian set a trial date of May 5, 2025.

Attorney Johnson shared with the court her estimation that the trial might stretch on for about three weeks. However, she also mentioned a chance that an additional indictment could be brought forth, potentially leading to further accusations against Combs.

Agnifilo said in court they’d need about a week to put on their case.

Simultaneously, the attorney stated in the TMZ report that Combs was eager to take the stand and present his case personally.

Agnifilo stated, ‘I’m not sure if I can prevent him from taking the stand, as he seems quite keen to share his side of things.’
