Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s romantic journey started in July 2023, as her Eras Tour happened to be scheduled at the Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.
As an ardent fan of Taylor Swift, the Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end attended the concert with the intention of presenting Taylor with a friendship bracelet engraved with his number. Unfortunately, he was unable to do so because of her pre-performance routines.
Travis mentioned during the July 26th episode of his New Heights podcast that he felt let down because she doesn’t speak before or after her performances, as she needs to conserve her voice for the 44 songs she sings. In other words, he was a bit upset that he didn’t get the chance to give her one of the bracelets he had made for her.
Following a mishap he later referred to as “rock solid,” Travis bravely asked the Grammy-winning artist if he’d like to join him at the Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium.
He expressed on The Pat McAfee Show that he had suggested an idea and invited her to respond: “I hinted at it, I tossed the suggestion of a performance at Arrowhead over to her,” he said. “I told her, ‘Remember how you electrified the stage in Arrowhead? Initially, Travis sported a mustache that he grew in August at the training camp. This was evident when he was initially presented to Taylor for the first time.
