Reflecting on the couples from Love is Blind, it’s clear that each journey was unique and filled with its own set of challenges. Among them all, I find myself drawn to Kelly and Kenny, a pair whose love story seemed destined for success yet took an unexpected turn.
The weddings are now here on Love Is Blind season 7, and what a rollercoaster this season has been!
Prior to their return to Washington D.C., there were rifts among the couples, and ultimately, only two pairs managed to walk down the aisle. This might be disheartening for viewers who had hoped for a different outcome with one particular couple.
As the final episode of Love Is Blind Season 7 hits Netflix and the reunion is only a week away, let’s dive into what we already know about the cast members, their weddings, and which couples are still going strong. Enjoy!
Continue scrolling for updates on past couples, including fan favorites Lauren and Cameron, all the way to season 4’s adorable duo, Bliss and Zack, who are thrilled to announce their upcoming parenthood – isn’t that sweet!
Love Is Blind season 7 couples
Taylor and Garrett – Married
As a film enthusiast, let me share my thoughts on this heartwarming tale of love, persistence, and triumph. Taylor and Garrett, two individuals who braved the odds against them, finally walked down the aisle, their journey culminating in an affirmative response from both parties. A delightful cinematic moment indeed!
At the wedding altar, Garrett responded affirmatively when asked if he would marry Taylor, to which she happily consented. Later in conversation, someone inquired whether love is indeed blind, and Garrett replied positively, saying, “Yes, love can certainly be blind.
“Love is totally blind,” Taylor added.
spectators should stay alert during the reunion on October 30th, as they’ll want to catch if things worked out for the couples past their wedding day.
Tyler and Ashley – Married
During the finale of Love Is Blind season 7, Tyler and Ashley became the second couple to get married. They are excited about starting their new journey in life beyond the experiment.
In a heartfelt confession, I find myself compelled to echo the sentiment: Love indeed clouds one’s judgment. Time and again, I find this to be true in my own life. For I have found both my soulmate and my dearest friend within the same person. – A movie reviewer expressing thoughts on a romantic film.
Ashley mentioned, “I wouldn’t have discovered such deep affection without carrying out this experiment and considering someone based on their inner qualities.
Brittany and Leo – Split
In my humble opinion, the intriguing Netflix series “The Circle” kept me on the edge of my seat, especially when it came to the love stories unfolding within the pods. Brittany and Leo, unfortunately, weren’t selected to jet off to sunny Mexico with the other engaged couples. Yet, beyond those pod walls, they dared to explore a relationship. However, after much contemplation, they realized their connection was more profound as friends rather than romantic partners.
“The chemistry just wasn’t there,” Brittany told People.
Initially, we discussed the possibility of how things might unfold. As time passed during our journey, however, it became apparent that the connection wasn’t there, and we both felt it. Being effective communicators, we found this realization to be straightforward and respectful.
Marissa and Ramses – Split
In the seventh season, Marissa and Ramses were among the pairs who audiences grew fond of. However, they surprised everyone by deciding to call off their wedding.
Following their discussion about their disagreements, Ramses observed that “affection isn’t sufficient on its own” and emphasized the importance of having additional factors working in harmony as well.
In response to his action, Marissa expressed her feelings by saying: “I believe you made a mistake in joining this event. I am so certain, yet you aren’t? It’s disappointing because I wanted you to pick me. Today is undoubtedly the most difficult day I’ve ever experienced.
Love Is Blind season 6 couples
Brittany and Kenneth – Split
In the sixth season, Brittany and Kenneth were among the initial couples to become engaged, but they were also the first ones to break off their engagement before the wedding. They spoke candidly about the absence of emotional connection within their relationship prior to any nuptials.
At which point, Kenneth decided that it wasn’t “enough” for them to get married.
He mentioned, “Unfortunately, this isn’t the right path, but I truly hope you meet the one you’re destined for.” With a warm embrace, he comforted a tearful Brittany.
Jimmy and Chelsea – Called off wedding
In the final episode of their shared journey, it wasn’t clear whether Jimmy and Chelsea chose to remain a couple beyond the show, but one thing was undeniably certain – they didn’t tie the knot. On the fateful day of their wedding, Jimmy made an emotional confession: “Every day, you’ve been everything I could ever want in a partner. I adore you deeply and yearn for a relationship with you, wanting us to succeed more than anything. However, I just can’t walk down the aisle.
In spite of his relationship with Jessica, Jimmy opted to pop the question to Chelsea. Though Chelsea was conversing with Trevor and had even purchased a bracelet for him, Jimmy managed to make it first and received a “yes” from her.
Although things appeared to progress smoothly beyond the pods, it was difficult for Jimmy to fully grasp the similarity between Megan Fox and what Chelsea had described inside the pods.
Yet, the situation began to deteriorate as Jimmy encountered AD and made a remark about her figure. Back in Charlotte, matters worsened even more when Jimmy discovered Jessica’s social media profile.
As a follower of all four on Instagram, I notice that Chelsea and Jimmy reciprocate their friendship online, with Jimmy showing a bit more interest in Chelsea’s posts by liking them more frequently. Additionally, they both keep tabs on Trevor and Jess as well.
We’ll keep you update right here once we know more.

Amber “AD” and Clay – Called off wedding
On their promising day, AD and Clay seemed set, but unexpectedly, on their wedding day, Clay chose not to proceed with the marriage, confessing: “It doesn’t seem right for me to make that commitment.
Despite Clay expressing his desire to continue dating and put in the effort to make it work, AD wasn’t on the same page.
Towards the close of episode 12, she expressed: “I can’t envision myself pursuing a relationship with him any longer… Somebody else might choose you instead. I’ve had enough! My heart feels utterly shattered.
In the pods, AD was linked with Matthew, but Matthew chose to leave the study to be with Amanda instead.
Later on, she kept delving into various topics alongside Clay, and in due time, he proposed. Earlier, Clay had inquired about her physical attributes, yet she refused, explaining that it contradicted the whole concept of the program.
Regardless, when they crossed paths, things appeared promising and they arrived home in Charlotte. Although there were minor conflicts regarding work timetables, the relationship seemed to be thriving up until episode 10. With AD’s mother expressing her acceptance of their romance, it seemed that the wedding was on the horizon.
However, on the day, it looked like Clay’s issues with marriage had got the better of him.
Laura and Jeramey – Split
Account director Laura, 34, and Jeramey, 32, got engaged in the pods.
Initially, things appeared to progress smoothly during their face-to-face interaction. However, Jeramey disclosed a personal joke about AD that he’d shared with Laura to the rest of the group, which upset Laura. This led to a minor argument between them.
Despite their efforts to move past their issues, everything was going smoothly until one evening when Jeramey returned home late. Later, he confessed that he had spent the night with Sarah Ann – a woman he had previously dated in the community housing units.
They officially called things off in episode 11, as Jeramey appeared to follow up with Sarah Ann…
Amy and Johnny – Married
In an innovative living arrangement, e-commerce expert Amy, aged 28, and account executive Johnny, also 28, became the initial couple to propose within their shared pods. Despite neither fitting their typical physical preferences, their bond flourished beyond the pods. An exciting moment arrived when Johnny asked for Amy’s father’s blessing to marry her, and graciously, he granted it.
And love was truly blind for these two as they both said “I do” at the altar. Congratulations!
Love Is Blind season 5 couples
Lydia and Milton – Married
On the show, it’s just Lydia and Milton who exchanged vows, and they’ve stayed a loving pair ever since.
After getting back together, the pair disclosed that they currently maintain a long-distance relationship, as Milton has recently taken on a new job which necessitated his move to another location.
Currently, Lydia shared with Entertainment Weekly that her and her colleague’s primary focus is their respective careers: I recently acquired a new position, which I’ve only been at for a month; he has been employed there for a year but was just transferred to Long Beach.
During an interview with Rolling Stone, Lydia shared that she found “an ideal match” for herself and takes pride in realizing where she had been making mistakes within the dating world.
Izzy and Stacy – Split
At the end of the last episode, audiences witnessed Izzy and Stacy walking towards each other down the aisle. However, things took an unexpected turn when Stacy chose not to go through with the marriage, and they both left separately.
Regardless of the bitterness that lingered following their wedding, they made an effort to rekindle their relationship, yet it ultimately failed.
In the reunion show, it came to light that the duo had gone out on a first date. Later, Stacy informed Izzy that she no longer wished to proceed with their engagement, leading them to part ways. As a result, they didn’t meet again for an entire year.
Johnie and Chris – Split
Initially appearing as a solid couple, Johnie and Chris announced their separation during the reunion special.
Following the Houston party, Chris engaged in infidelity towards Johnie, a deed that left him feeling remorseful afterwards.
At the gathering, Chris expressed: “I must admit, it’s been awful. I acknowledge my mistake. I felt a range of emotions – guilt, sadness, and more, because I truly fell for you and I haven’t stopped caring.
What transpired was truly unfortunate, and it’s something I deeply regret for not having been more open with you about. I’ve expressed my apologies previously, and I do so again now.
At the time of writing, both Chris and Johnie are in different relationships.
JP and Taylor – Split
Initially, JP and Taylor formed one of the most robust partnerships among the pods; however, this dynamic shifted dramatically upon their confrontation.
On their pre-wedding getaway, JP and Taylor found an uncomfortable silence between them, as JP seldom engaged in conversation with Taylor, leaving her without a clear explanation for his distant behavior.
It didn’t take long for the situation to become clear when JP confessed that he found Taylor’s heavy makeup uncomfortable during their post-podcast discussion. Eventually, Taylor concluded that their relationship wasn’t sustainable and opted to call it quits on their last day of their honeymoon.
After the broadcast, JP has continued to reinforce his statements, even though he claimed he didn’t intend to offend Taylor.
He admitted to Tudum that upon reflection, his words and tone may not have accurately expressed how he truly felt at the time.
He explained: “She perceived my comment as an insult, but I intended it as a sincere compliment. I was saying, ‘You look wonderful without makeup,’ and suggesting that she doesn’t need to put on a show to impress me. Unfortunately, my message didn’t come across as intended.
The firefighter still stands by his comments that Taylor’s reveal caught him off guard.
As I sat in the theater, I found myself momentarily stunned by the heavy makeup, false lashes, and overall exaggerated appearance on screen. If a more authentic, understated aesthetic had been employed, perhaps the scene would have felt less uncomfortable for me.
Love Is Blind season 4 couples
Brett and Tiffany – Married
In the fourth season, the connection between Lauren and Cameron flourished instantly, and it deepened even more as they became friends. Their relationship reached new heights when they finally met in real life and embarked on a trip to Mexico together.
On their big day, the couple encountered a minor issue with Brett’s suit, but a skilled seamstress quickly stepped in to help. As a result, they successfully walked down the aisle. Not surprisingly, they are still going strong, as confirmed during the Love Is Blind reunion. Hooray!
Following their wedding, Brett and Tiffany demonstrated their enduring bond by celebrating their first anniversary together with Kwame and Chelsea. What a heartwarming sight!
Zack and Irina – Split
Right from our initial encounter, it wasn’t an instant love connection for me and Irina. In fact, she labeled me “creepy” and even went so far as to compare me to a cartoon character! On the other hand, I found myself praising her beauty, likening her to the stunning actress Megan Fox. Yet, by that point, she had already developed a sense of unease, as she confided in Micah that she felt uncomfortable when I hugged her.
At the close of episode 5, the duo mutually agreed to end their relationship. It was then that Irina confessed her feelings for Paul, while Zack acknowledged that he should have picked Bliss over his current choice.
Zack and Bliss – Married
Fans of “Love is Blind” may recall that Zack proposed to Bliss following his breakup with Irina, after she offered him another opportunity.
Initially, Bliss’s family had reservations about their relationship, but in the end, they managed to navigate through their wedding successfully. As for the Love Is Blind reunion, they are still going strong! In fact, Bliss disclosed that Zack and her father have become close friends, or even “best buds”.
The couple are still happily married and are expecting their first child together!
Paul and Micah – Split
Although Paul and Micah faced many obstacles on their journey, it seemed they were heading towards marriage; but unfortunately, viewers of the last episode discovered that Paul chose to abandon Micah at the altar instead.
In the end, Paul chose not to continue his relationship with Micah since he couldn’t picture their future together. This decision left Micah deeply saddened.
During the live reunion, he expressed regret for stating that he didn’t envision Micah as a mother on the show, explaining instead: “I believe I expressed myself unfairly towards her. A more accurate way to put it would be that I can’t imagine us as parents.
As a passionate cinephile, I find myself in an exciting new chapter of my life, while it appears that my dear friend Micah remains single. In the captivating film “After the Altar,” we learned that I had managed to maintain a warm friendship with Paul’s mother even after our romantic relationship ended.
Kwame and Chelsea – Married
In the end, Kwame proposed to Chelsea rather than Micah, as it turned out that Chelsea was interested in pursuing a relationship with Paul instead, since Micah had only expressed a desire for friendship.
Initially, Kwame and Chelsea hit it off immediately, giving the impression of a smooth relationship development. However, everything changed when Micah arrived, and all the couples had an opportunity to mingle.
I must confess, from the very beginning, Micah caught my eye, and not just during the initial set of episodes, but also in the subsequent ones. Flirting was definitely part of our dynamic, both then and now. Yet, here’s a twist – we made it to the altar on our wedding day, and if the Love Is Blind reunion is anything to go by, we are still very much a couple!
The pair disclosed that they are still together, and since the program was produced, Chelsea has encountered Kwame’s mother, who initially opposed the wedding and chose not to attend the ceremony. Meanwhile, Kwame expressed regret for the inappropriate discussions he held with Micah following their departure from the isolation pods.
Marshall and Jackie – Split
Initially, I found myself rooting for Marshall and Jackie’s budding romance, despite a momentary hiccup due to his past feelings for Jackie’s sister, Jackie. However, as the latest episodes unfolded, their relationship seemed strained, with frequent disagreements and Josh attempting to mend fences with Jackie.
In the final episodes of season 4, we discovered that Jackie ended her relationship with Marshall before their wedding and met Josh at a coffee shop instead. During the Love is Blind reunion special, she disclosed that she’s currently dating Josh and living with him.
She parted ways with Marshall prior to encountering Josh at the coffee shop, which might give that impression, but let me make it clear: I’m not a cheater, she asserted.
After the Love is Blind series, it was disclosed that Jackie and Josh parted ways following a year-long relationship, which they had kept under wraps.
During an Instagram Live, a Love Is Blind cast member remarked, ‘Things are as they are.’ Since then, she’s removed most pictures of Josh from her Instagram account.
Josh is now engaged and it appears Jackie is single.
Love Is Blind season 3 couples
Alexa and Brennon – Married
In the opening episode of Love Is Blind season 3, Alexa and Brennon were among the initial couples who declared their love for each other after getting engaged.
For this particular pair, the experimental process went quite smoothly without much turbulence, making it unsurprising that they confidently declared their vows, “I do”, during the wedding ceremony.
At the reunion event, the couple appeared deeply affectionate, with Brennon humorously commenting on the limited closet space Alexa had allotted him in their two-bedroom flat.
After the show, things have continued to improve for Alexa and Brennon, as they’re now excitedly anticipating the arrival of their first baby!
They posted a video on Instagram showing them perusing an issue of The Baby Times, with the title “Baby Lemieux due in 2024” prominently displayed.
Cole and Zanab – Split
In episode 2 of Love Is Blind season 3, Realtor Cole expressed his intentions to propose to flight attendant Zanab, as she confessed her feelings for him; however, it’s unclear whether their relationship has endured since the show was filmed.
At their wedding, Zanab opted out of committing to Cole, acknowledging that he had impacted her self-confidence negatively.
At the reunion, matters didn’t improve. She alleged that he had taken a woman’s phone number during his bachelor party and attempted to regulate her food intake, which he vehemently denied.
Zanab acknowledged some recent criticism and offered an apology on her Instagram, stating: “Cole, I persistently tried to make our relationship work until I just couldn’t anymore. You understand this, don’t you? You understand why I spoke the way I did. You know what transpired between us. It’s alright if you aren’t prepared to discuss that just yet. Zae.
Their split comes after the duo faced several issues on the show.
In their conversation, they each acknowledged facing challenges when connecting the voices from the pods with the actual individuals they met face-to-face. Furthermore, during episode 4, Cole openly expressed his attraction towards Colleen upon their encounter.
At the pool party, he confessed: “Zanab is the woman I feel an emotional bond with, Colleen is the woman I share a physical connection with – where can I find that middle ground?
Days prior to the wedding, there was another disagreement between them. Cole expressed doubts about whether Zanab might have a condition similar to bipolar disorder.
SK and Raven – Split
In the flesh, data engineer ‘SK’ (Sikiru) encountered pilates instructor Raven following his proposal to her, which took place during episode 2.
Despite a few differences, it looked like things could be on the up for SK and Raven.
At the pool gathering, Raven confided in SK that she was developing feelings for him. In another instance, she openly acknowledged experiencing an attraction or sexual chemistry between them.
As the days leading up to our wedding approached, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of anticipation and excitement. But then came that unexpected moment at the altar when SK said “I don’t,” leaving me in shock and Raven in tears as she left the reception. It was a heartbreaking turn of events that none of us saw coming.
Upon learning about the incident, even SK’s mother was astonished, and later when she visited Raven in her room, she offered comfort.
After the wedding, SK conversed with his brother and companions, expressing that the moment wasn’t suitable for them. He also mentioned that there were other aspects of their relationship they needed to align on, like him relocating for educational purposes.
After the performance, Raven and SK chose to attempt their relationship once more. On Love After The Altar, SK asked for Raven’s hand in marriage again. However, the couple later parted ways.
Raven shared some difficult news: We’ve chosen to part ways. Unfortunately, ongoing legal matters regarding certain accusations prevent us from sharing more information at this time. We kindly request your understanding and compassion as we navigate through this tough period. Thank you for being a part of our journey together.
Bartise and Nancy – Split
31-year-old speech therapist Nancy declined a proposal from Andrew and instead chose to be with 27-year-old senior analyst Bartise, eventually getting engaged during the third season of “Love Is Blind.
In episode 4, there were some complications as Bartise admitted to finding Raven appealing and stated that Nancy wasn’t his typical choice. During the home visits, Nancy’s siblings interrogated Bartise about his feelings towards their sister, and they weren’t satisfied with his vague responses. One of her brothers even inquired if Bartise would still be interested in Nancy if she put on 400 pounds, to which he responded negatively – oops!
Leading up to their big day, it appeared that things were going splendidly for Nancy and Bartise; they exchanged thoughtful gifts before the wedding. However, would they take the leap and say “I do?
In the matter of whether to marry or end their relationship, Bartise opted against marrying Nancy. This decision left Nancy’s mother and younger sibling extremely upset.
While Nancy tried to hear Bartise out, she admitted that she felt “gaslighted” by him.
At the reunion gathering, it came to light that Bartise was seen with a blonde female companion only a few days following their wedding. To this revelation, he expressed unwillingness to delve into details about his intimate relationships with the entire cast.
It’s probably safe to say these two won’t be rekindling anything.
Since appearing on the chose, Bartise now has a child.
Colleen and Matt – Married
Even with some setbacks, private charter sales executive Matt and digital PR strategist Colleen who is also a ballet dancer, tied the knot towards the conclusion of their third season together.
It appeared that everything was progressing smoothly, as they discussed their plans to spend a significant portion of the coming week working on their living accommodations.
In the third season, the couple encountered several problems. At a pool gathering, Cole disclosed that he found Colleen more physically appealing than his partner Zanab. She also admitted that she might engage with him in the “real world.” Later, when Colleen told Matt about this, he became upset over her response, leading to an argument between them.
After Colleen chose to go out partying instead of discussing their issues with Matt at home, they had another disagreement. In a chat with Bartise, Matt expressed his frustration by stating: “Under no circumstances can I marry this woman.
It seems they’ve been able to move past that issue and are currently relishing their married life.
Love Is Blind season 2 couples
Danielle and Nick – Split
In the second season, Nick and Danielle were the initial pair to get engaged, and their connection intensified when they finally encountered each other in reality. Nevertheless, a minor hiccup occurred during their vacation as a couple in Mexico. Since Danielle fell ill, she couldn’t attend the first group night out, which led her to question her trust in Nick.
In spite of a handful of disagreements, they ultimately walked down the aisle and tied the knot in the finale. At their reunion, it was confirmed that they had continued their union.
However, they’ve since split.
It was verified by TMZ that Danielle initiated a divorce from Nick in August 2022, marking a year since their wedding on the television program.
Abhishek ‘Shake’ and Deepti – Split
Despite finding each other unconventional matches, Abhishek (Shake) proposed to Deepti, but during their trip to Mexico, it became clear that he wasn’t physically attracted to her. Regardless of this, they decided to continue their relationship until the wedding day. On the big day, Shake shared with his friends that he still hadn’t developed a physical connection. However, Deepti left everyone in awe when she declined to marry him at the altar, expressing that she deserved someone who was absolutely sure about her, and it resonated with many viewers.
After the events unfolded, Deepti’s sibling took to Instagram to criticize Shake, posting a photo of his sister on her wedding day with this message: “Typically, I avoid getting entangled in drama, but in this case, I’ll make an exception for my sister: ‘Shake’, my friend, you’re a failure. You trivialized my sister’s life by making some distasteful and embarrassing remarks about her.
He commented, “You were aware that someday your own mother might see this; my parents and I, along with my entire family, had the unpleasant experience of listening to you discuss my sister’s lifelong insecurities behind her back.
Shaina and Kyle – Split
Shaina said “yes” to Kyle, despite the pair having opposing views about religion. Following their engagement, Shaina confessed her love for Shayne in the pods, but he turned her down for Natalie. During the trip to Mexico, Shaina left early due to their differences, however, the pair met up back home and it looked like the wedding was back on.
After Shaina presented Kyle to her family, but they struggled to accept his atheism, she ultimately chose to bring the relationship to a definitive end.
In September 2023, Shane announced to People that she’s now married and expecting her first child. Expressing their feelings, she stated, “We are incredibly thankful and filled with gratitude for this wonderful blessing. Our hearts are overflowing!
Shayne and Natalie – Split
Shayne and Natalie immediately connected and he soon asked her to be his girlfriend, eventually proposing. While on vacation in Mexico, many couples admired their obvious chemistry; however, towards the end of the trip, their relationship appeared strained as they realized they had contrasting ways of expressing affection.
Upon reaching home, Shayne encountered Shaina for the very first time. Natalie couldn’t help but watch as they talked and shared laughter. Despite this initial encounter, they eventually got to know each other better, even meeting their respective families. However, the eve before their wedding day was marred by a significant argument, during which Shayne confided in Natalie that he felt intense dislike towards her.
During their wedding, Natalie explained that she was unable to marry him, which left Shayne feeling extremely angry.
Mallory and Salvador – Split
Mallory declined Jarrette’s proposal to be with Salvador, but when they got together, she found it hard to pinpoint what was amiss. It seemed that this pair might part ways after Mallory encountered Jarrette personally, who noted that Salvador had chosen the wrong ring color for her. Despite this, they departed Mexico with high hopes, and eventually introduced each other to their respective families.
Although all of Sal’s sisters supported their relationship, Mallory’s sister felt uncertain about building a marriage solely based on their brief interactions in the pods. Despite this reservation, the couple chose to move forward with the wedding. However, when it came time for the final decision, Sal expressed the need for additional time. Mal empathized with him and suggested they go out on dates to deepen their understanding of each other.
However, it looked like things were completely over between these two at the reunion.
After the show, Sal has resumed his journey in the dating scene, expressing: “I’ve been applying all that I’ve gathered from this experience and I’m giving attention to nurturing my self-love as well. However, I am engaged in conversations with someone.
As for Mallory, it’s not clear whether she’s in a relationship or not.
Jarrette and Iyanna – Split
After being rejected by Mallory, Jarrette chose to pop the question to Iyanna. Although she might have thought of herself as his “second option”, Iyanna agreed, and they hit it off wonderfully during their vacation in Mexico. Their bond deepened even more when they reunited at home and got to know each other’s families. The icing on the cake was Jarrette’s father offering to officiate their wedding ceremony, while Iyanna invited Jarrette’s sister to join her for a dress fitting.
On season 2, this particular couple was among the very few who tied the knot, and after their wedding, there seemed to be a hopeful prospect for them as they discussed plans for starting a family together.
However, in August 2022, they revealed that they were getting a divorce.
In unison, they expressed their sentiments: “Dear loved ones, it is with heavy hearts that we announce our decision to part ways. Following careful consideration, we find ourselves embarking on the journey towards a divorce.
Though our hearts hold affection for one another, life’s path is leading us apart, which is perfectly fine. Arriving at this point wasn’t effortless, and it’s filled with a deep desire that we both prosper immensely.
Let’s allow some room for ourselves as we move on from this phase of life. A heartfelt thanks to our dear friends and family who have shown their love and support throughout our journey.
Love Is Blind season 1 couples
Lauren and Cameron – Married
As a die-hard film enthusiast, I can’t help but share an exciting tale: We, two strangers, found ourselves connected by a radiant blue barrier, and from that very first moment, sparks flew. Fast forward through the reels, we exchanged vows, becoming the pioneering duo to seal our bond with a ring. It fills me with joy to say that we’re still writing this love story together, chapter by chapter, today!
During their encounter, the bond between Lauren and Cameron strengthened significantly, and Lauren affectionately referred to it as “extraordinarily unique” while on their honeymoon in Mexico.
In the face of some apprehensions regarding their interracial union, they successfully navigated through to their wedding day.
After the performance, Lauren shared with Elite Daily: “Oh My Word! We’re overjoyed. It’s just that every day we discover more about each other, and it seems like we fall even more in love.” Meanwhile, Cameron hinted to LA Times about Lauren’s study room potentially serving a different function soon – if his plans come to fruition.
On the special occasion of their two-year anniversary, this loving pair chose to celebrate it during the “Love Is Blind: After the Altar” event, alongside Amber and Barnett. They’ve frequently discussed the idea of expanding their family in the near future.
Lauren acknowledged that they’re planning to begin attempts next year because they’re not pressed for time, yet she realizes that she’s growing older.
2021 marked the year that the duo jointly released their inaugural book, entitled “Leap of Faith”. Additionally, they finalized the purchase of their new residence – isn’t that wonderful to hear about!
Mark and Jessica – Jilted at the altar
While Mark Cuevas fell for Jessica Batten straight away, it was a different story for Jess, 34.
Simultaneously, Regional Manager Jessica found herself developing a bond with Barnett, which she just couldn’t shake off since their first encounter.
However, when Mark, aged 24, proposed, she answered affirmatively. Yet, not long afterwards, her uncertainties resurfaced, causing Jessica to take off her engagement ring again.
Despite their difficulties, they appeared to have a positive relationship during their meeting again.
Currently, Jessica is wedded to her partner, and so is Mark with his spouse, Aubrey. Together, they’ve expanded their families, with Mark having two kids with Aubrey.
Damian and Giannina – Split
Among the most solid couples from the beginning of the series, Damian Powers and Giannina Gibelli surprisingly made a double proposal towards each other.
In their encounters, their bond grew even more robust. The pair successfully navigated a minor challenge when Giannina, aged 25, perceived that Damian, who was 27 at the time, seemed to be closing off discussions and not sharing openly with her.
In their conversation, they discussed strategies for managing their respective ventures – Giannina’s business and Damian’s role as a general manager – which are based in their hometown.
However, despite a promising beginning, the pair seemed to disintegrate towards the end, with Damian unwilling to marry her because he perceived that she was inconsistent in her actions while he remained steadfast.
This incident resulted in an enraged Giannina abruptly leaving the wedding, giving Julias Roberts’ character from Runaway Bride a strong competition. The team was equally taken aback by this unexpected development, much like the audience.
The pair rekindled things after the show and at the reunion show revealed they were dating.
Nevertheless, they ended their relationship permanently last year. Subsequently, Damian attended the Love Is Blind: After The Altar event with Francesca Farago, who is known from Too Hot to Handle.
It seems that Damian is currently unattached, while Giannina has entered into a fresh romantic partnership and recently disclosed her pregnancy news.
Kelly and Kenny – Jilted at the altar
The couple appeared to adopt a somewhat mature strategy for their relationship, as they spoke about finding ways to incorporate it into their daily routines right from the start.
This action wasn’t met with approval by the other competitors, who identified them as the pair most likely to remain united.
The sweetness of the proposal from Kelly and Kenny stood out, as they playfully covered their eyes even though they couldn’t physically see each other at the moment.
Kenny, who was 27 then, expressed his feelings by saying, ‘Today, I’m deeply in love with you, and that feeling won’t fade, but I eagerly anticipate learning to love you even more,'” is a possible paraphrase of the given sentence. It aims to convey the same meaning while using simpler, more natural language.
However, when their wedding day finally came, it appeared as though they were reading from distinct chapters, for Kelly chose to forego the marriage, even though she harbored love for him.
Since then, Kenny tied the knot with his companion, Alexandra Garrison, while it seems that Kelly remains unmarried, dedicating herself to her professional endeavors. Notably, she’s recently started her own podcast as well.
Matt (Barnett) and Amber – Married
Matt Barnett faced allegations that he was playing the field, as he had previously formed relationships with Lauren Chamblin (known as LC), Amber, and Jessica.
Ultimately, the 27-year-old found contentment with Amber, aged 26, who was overjoyed by his proposal.
After meeting in person, their connection grew stronger by the day, making it difficult for them to resist physical affection towards one another.
Despite some pre-wedding nerves, particularly from Barnett who was hard to reach in the morning, the couple astonished their fans by being the first to walk down the aisle on their big day.
The duo remains strongly bonded, and they commemorated their anniversary by throwing a shared celebration with Lauren and Cameron.
Discussing future plans on Love is Blind After the Altar, it emerged that Amber shared her diagnosis of epilepsy, causing concerns about starting a family. Meanwhile, Barnett mentioned to the guys that they aren’t currently taking active steps to avoid having children.
At one stage, Amber considered getting a divorce attorney, but instead, they persevered, and they’re still happily married today.
Carlton and Diamond – Split
The first couple to call it quits, Carlton Morton and Diamond Jack walked away from the show before filming even finished. Things turned sour between them after Carlton put a ring on it and an emotional argument made them realise that they weren’t right for each other.
Carlton decided it was appropriate to disclose to his fiancée that he had dated individuals identifying as both male and female in the past, but Diamond struggled to accept this information and felt they should have been informed sooner.
