The individual, aged 44, who has candidly shared his battles with substance abuse and addiction throughout his life, underscored the significance of completely abstaining from drugs.

“Who wants to get high?” Lamar posited. “I call it getting low.”

He shared in a candid 2023 YouTube video that he felt compelled to take a short break as he had lost touch with who he truly was. Up until then, he admitted, his life was not in the best state, but he was particularly joyful when he managed to pause and halt the relentless pace of life and work.

Since Liam’s unfortunate demise, a multitude of celebrities, including his bandmates, close family members such as Geoff Payne, Karen Payne, Nicola, Ruth, and even his ex-partner Cheryl Cole, who is the mother of his 7-year-old son Bear, have stepped forward to express their sorrow and condolences.

Liam’s sister Ruth expressed her feelings in a heartfelt Instagram post on October 19th: ‘This world didn’t seem to offer the goodness and kindness you deserved,’ she wrote. ‘Time and again, you struggled to rise above the challenges that came your way. All you wanted was love and to spread joy through your music. I hope, in your afterlife, you can see the immense love people have for you now, a love you didn’t always feel during your life.’
