In September of this year, EA Sports FC 25 became the top-selling game in the United States, marking a record-breaking debut as it achieved the highest launch month dollar sales for any football simulation game in the U.S. to date. Comparatively, EA Sports FC 25 experienced double-digit percentage growth in its U.S. launch month sales compared to last year’s version, EA Sports FC 24.
Following closely in second place is the highly praised platformer, Astro Bot, by Sony. Other fresh releases can also be found in the rankings, such as The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom at No. 4, NBA 2K25 at No. 7, and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 at No. 18. However, digital sales are not factored into the rankings for any of these three games.
In addition to the current hits, you’ll find “NHL 25” and “Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics” on the charts right now. Interestingly, “Dead Rising” has experienced a significant rise in popularity, moving up from rank 502 last month to number 11 this September, largely due to the launch of “Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster.
