As an obsessed fan with a penchant for nostalgia, I can’t help but feel a wave of excitement washing over me as I delve into the reminiscences of Rob Lowe. The Parks and Recreation alum has taken us on a journey back to the 80s, when he was part of the legendary Brat Pack.

In the 1980s, during their time as part of the famous Brat Pack group, Rob Lowe (from Parks and Recreation) openly acknowledged that he and Demi Moore, who co-starred with him in St. Elmo’s Fire, had a romantic involvement.
On the October 22nd episode of Kelly Ripa’s Let’s Talk Off Camera podcast, Rob casually mentioned, “Demi and I weren’t in a full-blown relationship or anything, but we did have a short-lived fling.
However, at 60 years old, Rob acknowledged that their romance didn’t endure. Demi moved on to get engaged to Emilio Estevez in 1985, but the engagement didn’t last long. She later married Bruce Willis in 1987, a union that ended in 2000. They share three daughters together: Rumer (36), Scout (33), and Tallulah (30). Despite all these changes, Rob maintains they have managed to preserve a strong friendship.
What about Rob’s current feelings towards their past fling? It didn’t shock him at all when those encounters took place during his time with the Brat Pack.

The actor from “9-1-1: Lone Star,” who has two sons, Matthew Lowe (age 31) and John Owen Lowe (age 28), with his wife of 36 years, Sheryl Berkoff, recently sparked excitement among fans by hinting at the possibility of a sequel to “St. Elmo’s Fire” nearly four decades after the initial film was released.

Rob has verified that Demi, Emilio, Ally Sheedy, Andrew McCarthy, Judd Nelson, and Mare Winningham, who were all in the initial film, have agreed to participate.
He went on to say that everyone seems really thrilled about it, as he pondered over what makes the film continue to touch people deeply.
Rob commented, “It resonated with people back then because it reflected the stage of life we were all at.” He went on to ponder, “Can we still forge those profound friendships from college and early adulthood? Will they endure as we grow into true adults? What lies ahead for us now?
Furthermore, examining the characters from the film after four decades allows Rob and the cast to delve deeper into the theme of “happiness can still be found no matter the time” by revisiting characters that audiences are already fond of.
“I’m super excited about it,” he added. “Hopefully, we can pull it off.”
