Like a Dragon Gaiden Receives Time-Limited Trial on Steam Until October 28th

As a seasoned gamer with years of Yakuza franchise under my belt, I can’t help but feel like Christmas came early this year! The rain of sales on Steam for these iconic titles is simply divine intervention. The free trial for Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name is the cherry on top of this gaming feast.

The “Like a Dragon/Yakuza” series is experiencing a downpour of sales on Steam, with games such as Judgment, Lost Judgment, and Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth being heavily discounted until November 7th. Additionally, RGG Studio has not only reduced the price of Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name but also made available a free trial for it.

Until October 28th on Steam, the game offers a four-hour preview of its sequel. In this playthrough, players can continue Kazuma Kiryu’s story, now under the alias Joryu, and confront new enigmatic adversaries with two distinct fighting styles: Yakuza and Agent. Alternatively, they can explore the world, sing karaoke, strive to become a pocket circuit champion, or engage in combat at the arena.

The game titled “Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name” can also be played on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC. You can find our review of it here. The next title from RGG Studio is “Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii,” which is approximately 1.3 to 1.5 times larger than “Gaiden.” It will be released for consoles and PC on February 21st.
