The Sacramento-born hairstylist shared with TopMob News in an exclusive interview that he aspires to always serve as a role model for his daughter, Rowen, by emulating genuine behavior, just like his mother did. His mother consistently put herself out there, had faith in herself, and pursued her dreams, whether it was on a reality show or in everyday life. He wants to demonstrate to Rowen that she should follow her heart and do what makes her happy.
And though her journey was certainly dramatic at times, it eventually led Clare to Mascot Sports CEO Ryan, who was, as she previously detailed to TopMob, “in my backyard the whole time.”
And even in the thorniest of moments, said Clare, she remained confident she’d find her happily ever after.
She admitted that her statement might seem unusual, considering she’s a 43-year-old woman who got married at 41. However, she confessed that there has always been something within her that felt this way, and she has always believed deep down in her heart that everything would turn out for the best, even when she had moments of uncertainty, such as wondering, “When will it happen?

Reflecting upon my rollercoaster journey with Dale Moss, my final rose recipient, I openly confessed that I was deeply shattered. In the aftermath of my tumultuous past relationship, I found myself in a profoundly dark place – a place that unfortunately served as an appalling illustration of what relationships ought not to be.
As a lifestyle expert, I can relate to this scenario. When I met John, who was already a father of two from a previous relationship, I could see he was more than boyfriend material; he was future husband material too. Days when the energy within seems drained, leaving me feeling more like a lifeless being than a vibrant individual. Yet, somehow, the boundless love from my little one miraculously replenishes my reserves, transforming those challenging days into moments of pure enchantment.
And Rowen has proved to have a few tricks up her tiny sleeve.
At seven months old, she made her first steps, not long after she had become proficient at crawling. As I was recording her, just like any proud parent would, she unexpectedly began walking towards my spouse all by herself.
Astonished, Clare exclaimed, ‘I found myself crying because it struck me that this tiny being is constantly discovering and developing, and each day brings a new experience.’
But while the walking was impressive, Clare’s favorite milestone thus far was a bit more subtle.
Clare shared her concern: “Since she’s a surrogate baby, I wondered, ‘How will she recognize me as her mom?'” However, it turns out that in a bustling room, she seeks me out. When she’s hurt or not feeling well, when she’s tired, she also looks for me. This proves that the origin or manner of arrival doesn’t affect our babies’ ability to identify their mother and father.
And it’s a role Clare was all too eager to accept.
She confessed that for about a week after Rowen’s arrival, she was utterly stunned. The anticipation had been so intense, it left her feeling almost paralyzed. Even when they discovered the surrogate was pregnant with their child, there was an uneasiness, as if not wanting to let herself hope in fear that it might not come true.
Following numerous romantic experiences not yielding the desired outcome, she contemplated, “Could this be my turn? Could this be my moment? Is this finally my time?” She needed a full week to absorb it, realizing that she had her beloved and she was healthy and well. After that, it felt like an overwhelming wave of joy, knowing that she had her – it was everything she had ever dreamed of.
