As a dedicated follower of Ric Flair’s life and career, I am deeply saddened by the tragic news of his stepson Sebastian Kidder‘s passing. The WWE icon’s stepson Sebastian Kidder has died. He was 24.

His mother Wendy Barlow, the wrestler’s ex, confirmed to TMZ that her son died by suicide Oct. 26.

She expressed deep sorrow and astonishment, stating to the media on October 26th, “This situation is alarming, especially among our younger generations, and it’s linked to mental health issues as well.

Additionally, Wendy disclosed Sebastian’s demise on various social platforms, posting one of his last pictures – a selfie – that he himself uploaded to his account the very day he passed away.

She expressed on Instagram that there’s no way to put into words the grief she feels due to the loss of her baby Sebastian. She signed off with, “I love you, Mommy.

Born and raised in the Atlanta region as part of a family of four, Sebastian – whose mother once shared the wrestling stage with Ric at WCW shows, portraying “Fifi the Maid” – is also known for his career as a rock musician. His debut album was unveiled in July.

Last month, he shared with Fox 5 Atlanta that the album encompasses “much pain, much endurance,” along with romance, passion, and desire.

Wendy had expressed her pride in her son’s musical milestone.

She expressed her hope that everyone would enjoy listening to her son’s music, Sebastian, on his birthday, which she posted on Instagram along with a photo of them together. She is incredibly proud of him for pursuing his dreams and believes it takes courage to expose oneself to the world. In June, Sebastian unveiled his debut music video titled “Goth Girl at Bar”, and not only did Ric but also his mother actively share this new release across their respective social media platforms.

On his special day, I humbly request that everyone takes a moment to appreciate my son Sebastian’s music on Spotify, Apple Music, and other platforms, just as I have had the privilege of doing. His latest album, “Under the Moon,” is a testament to his unyielding pursuit of his dreams. It isn’t always easy laying one’s soul bare for the world to see, so I urge you all to lend an ear and support him in this incredible journey.

She added, “Happy Birthday @sebastianonthemic. Mommy Loves you.”

In June, Sebastian launched his debut music video titled “Goth Girl at Bar.” His mother, along with Ric (who parted ways after 13 years together in September), shared the news on their respective social media platforms.

In the TV interview, Sebastian likewise discussed his childhood with the WWE Hall of Famer, who is now 75 years old and is known by his real name, Richard Fliehr.

Speaking about Ric as my stepfather, I must say the experience was certainly distinct and unusual. Dining out with the family, we were constantly immersed in a sea of fans. Even from a young age, I was already accustomed to this attention, with people approaching us for photos, autographs, and such.

The singer added, “I mean, what kid has Post Malone coming over to the house and having dinner with the family? Darius Rucker pulled up with his big tour bus one time.”

Sebastian initially entered the world of entertainment at age ten, serving as a stand-in for the character Carl on The Walking Dead. This experience served as his launchpad, igniting his passion for the craft, and now, he continues to thrive within this industry.

Rick, who is a father of four children, has not spoken out about Sebastian’s passing, an event that transpired over 11 years following the demise of his and former spouse Elizabeth Harrell Fliehr’s son Reid Flair, another wrestler, at the age of 25.
