As a cinephile, I’m excited to share that this upcoming movie boasts an impressive ensemble cast featuring Daniel Craig, Drew Starkey, the Academy Award-nominated Lesley Manville, Jason Schwartzman, Henrique Zaga, Omar Apollo, Andra Ursuta, Andres Duprat, Ariel Shulman, Drew Droege, Michael Borremans, David Lowery, Lisandro Alonso, and Colin Bates. Quite a star-studded lineup!
The film titled “Queer” is crafted by Justin Kuritzkes (also the director of “Challengers,” co-directed by Luca Guadagnino) and features music from Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, stunning cinematography by Sayombhu Mukdeeprom (from “Suspiria”), editing by Marco Costa (of “Bones and All”), and costume design by J.W. It’s hard to say what these viewers were anticipating from a film with such a name.
