In the realm of Hollywood, where dreams are born and stars shine brightly, there is a unique group that has truly captivated audiences worldwide – the cast of High School Musical (HSM). Among these talented individuals, four stand out as the epitome of success, both personally and professionally.

Truly, the former star of High School Musical is overjoyed to see Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale embarking on their journeys into motherhood.

Monquie expressed to Francesca Amiker of TopMob News during the premiere of “Wizards Beyond Waverly Place” on October 29th that they haven’t met their children yet, but are thrilled about them becoming mothers. Furthermore, they shared their excitement for everyone involved as they watch each other grow and mature over the years. (Don’t miss more from the “Wizards Beyond Waverly Place” premiere on TopMob News tonight at 11 p.m.)

In October, Ashley, who is 39 years old, and her husband Christopher French welcomed a new addition to their family – their second daughter named Emerson. Their little one now shares the family with their elder daughter Jupiter, who is 3 years old.

In July, Vanessa, who is 35 years old, along with her husband Cole Tucker, became first-time parents. While Vanessa has not disclosed their child’s name as of now, she expressed in an Instagram post that “our family – mom, dad, and baby – are all content and healthy.

Even though the girls from East High School have each embarked on their unique paths, I’ve remained steadfast in supporting them through their significant achievements and personal advancements – a commitment that held true during Vanessa and Cole’s beautiful wedding in Mexico last December.

She expressed her viewpoint, stating that often in Hollywood, individuals may believe one cannot maintain a family life while also being well-balanced. She’s fortunate to have attended Vanessa’s wedding, and she knows that Vanessa is very much in love, which makes it all the more thrilling for her.

As a die-hard fan of the Wildcat clan, I can’t hide my enthusiasm as Monique isn’t the only one eagerly awaiting their expansion! Just like me, Zac Efron, Vanessa’s former beau, can’t help but express his excitement over his friends embarking on this wonderful journey of parenthood.

At the premiere of “A Family Affair” on June 13th, Zac expressed to Access Hollywood that the girls will make exceptional mothers. He gushed, “You wouldn’t believe the fun we’ll have at our future family gatherings!

In the realm of cinema, the High School Musical series catapulted Efron into full-fledged Hollywood stardom. He then secured roles in films like 17 Again, Charlie St. Cloud, That Awkward Moment, Neighbors and its sequel, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, as well as the screen adaptation of Baywatch where he displayed his famously chiseled physique alongside Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

In 2017, he went back to his original musical background (he had also sung in the 2007 movie “Hairspray”), by playing a role in “The Greatest Showman”. After portraying the notorious Ted Bundy in the 2019 Netflix film “Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile”, he agreed to be part of an adventure documentary series titled “Killing Zac Efron”, which surprisingly came close to ending his career. Now, you can see him in “Iron Claw” or visit his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Personal Background: Efron was romantically involved with Vanessa Hudgens, who portrayed his character’s romantic interest Gabriella Montez on screen, for approximately four years until 2010 when they parted ways. Later, from 2014 to 2016, he dated model Sam Miro. In 2020, he started dating Australian model Vanessa Valladares during his stay there. However, their relationship didn’t last long as they separated after less than a year.

In the realm of cinema: Following her roles in the three “High School Musical” movies, Hudgens continued to shine in films like “Bandslam”, “Beastly”, “Sucker Punch”, “Spring Breakers”, “Machete Kills”, “Second Act”, and most recently, “Bad Boys for Life”.

In a 2018 interview with The Guardian, Vanessa Hudgens expressed that although she enjoyed the High School Musical series immensely, it diverted her from the direction she had envisioned for her career. She had always aspired to be an indie actress, with roles in movies depicting drug addicts, strippers, or prostitutes being her goal since she was around 11 years old.

2015 marked the start of Vanessa Hudgens’ Broadway career with her debut in a revival of the musical “Gigi.” The next year, she went back to her roots in music and played Rizzo in Fox’s live production of “Grease.” In 2019, she appeared in another live Fox staging, this time for “Rent.” Additionally, she acted in a film adaptation of the musical “tick, tick…BOOM!,” which was both written and originally composed by Lin-Manuel Miranda and Jonathan Larson.

2011 saw Hudgens part ways with Zac Efron the following year. Subsequently, she started dating actor Austin Butler, but they called it quits in early 2020. In December 2023, after three years together, she tied the knot with MLB star Cole Tucker. The happy couple is now eagerly awaiting the arrival of their first child.
