As a die-hard fan who’s spent countless hours immersed in the vibrant world of anime, I can wholeheartedly say that Megan Thee Stallion is truly embodying the spirit of fandom! Her passion for all things JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is infectious, and her Halloween costume as Trish Una from Golden Wind just took it to another level.

Megan Thee Stallion has long worn her love of all things anime on her sleeve. Recently, the worldwide sensation helped to host the latest Crunchyroll Awards, the ceremony that honored some of the biggest franchises in the anime world. While she was doing so, Megan would switch between cosplays of some major characters in the anime world. For this year’s Halloween, Thee Stallion has shared a new costume that has her hitching a ride on the Golden Wind. This spooky season just got a little more spicy as Megan takes on the role of Trish Una via her social media account

If you’re unfamiliar with the character named Trish Una, she played a crucial part in “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind”. Although she didn’t initially team up with Giorno and his group aiming to take down Passione mafia, her path was destined to cross with the Stand-using heroes. Interestingly, Trish is the daughter of Diavolo, the evil leader of Passione who aimed to protect his kin from revealing his secret identity. Fortunately for Trish, she was spotted by Giorno at a critical moment as Diavolo planned to eliminate her.

Megan Thee Joestar

Megan Thee Stallion is likely one of the most ardent fans of “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure,” frequently expressing her affection not just by showcasing tributes to Hirohiko Araki’s anime on social media, but also by regularly traveling to Japan to explore Joestar landmarks. In recent times, she has attended JoJo exhibitions and, as previously mentioned, donned the persona of Bruno Bucciarati at the Crunchyroll Awards to express her love for all things related to the Joestars. It’s no wonder, then, that she was eager to emulate Trish and her Stand, “Spice Girl” (or “Spicy Lady” for North American fans).

What Happened to Trish?

In the end, Trish managed to make it through her battle with her father, thanks to Giorno’s victory over Diavolo and his control over the Italian mafia. As the story of Golden Wind came to a close, Giovanna reigned supreme, but since then, we haven’t seen any more of the Golden Wind crew in the series. Although JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure has had Joestars returning for parts of future arcs, Trish has been conspicuously absent from Steel Ball Run, JoJolion, and the JOJOLands so far.

Regarding the potential future of “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure” anime, it seems unlikely that Trish will appear in a new season focusing on the “Steel Ball Run”. Although neither Netflix nor David Production has officially announced a new season after the end of “Stone Ocean”, speculation persists that the tale of Johnny Joestar might be next.

Megan Thee Stallion’s Anime Recommendations

Apart from her popular music career, Megan Thee Stallion is known for her love for anime. She has enthusiastically endorsed several anime series such as Hunter x Hunter, My Hero Academia, Soul Eater, and many more. In fact, one of her notable cosplays was portraying Shoto Todoroki from My Hero Academia, showcasing her affinity for the Hot and Cold hero. With the increasing popularity of anime, it’s likely that Megan will continue to delve deeper into the world of anime and share her discoveries with her fans.
