Jake Bongiovi Reveals His Acting Skills in New Movie Trailer

As a diehard fan, I must say that Jake Bongiovi is making his family proud with every passing day! Born into the illustrious Bon Jovi clan, he has chosen to carve out his own path in the world of acting. His journey so far has been nothing short of inspiring, especially considering that he’s just getting started!

Jake Bongiovi is doing it his way.

It’s interesting to note that his wife, who was previously believed to be the only actor in the family, isn’t anymore. This is because Jake is showcasing his acting talents in the preview for the upcoming film titled “Sweethearts”.

The movie, set to release on Max on November 28th, features Kiernan Shipka from “Mad Men” and Nico Hiraga, recognized for his roles in “Booksmart” (2019) and the 2023 series “The Power”. These two actors portray college freshmen and best friends who are trying to manage their long-distance romantic relationships.

In the trailer, Jake portrays Kellan, a friend from their hometown who comically struggles with pronouncing “Je t’aime,” a French phrase meaning “I love you.” Elsewhere in the clip, at age 22, he is shown without a shirt as he and a group of companions try to ignite a turkey.

Jake started acting for the first time on a movie set with the film “Rockbottom” earlier this year, as he shared in the September issue of Flaunt Magazine. In other words, his debut performance in “Rockbottom” was not his initial experience working on a film set, since he had never been on a movie set before “Sweethearts“.

Even though he’s the son of renowned singer Jon Bon Jovi, Jake emphasized to the media that he’s dedicated to the grind, aiming to make a name for himself in the competitive realm of acting.

Currently, just as any other performer, everyone is attending countless callbacks, hoping to break through and reach success. Regardless of one’s experience or status, everyone is striving to climb that proverbial hill.

If he manages to achieve it, Jake (formerly a student at Syracuse University) mentioned that his ideal role would be starring in a science fiction drama.

He expressed, “That’s my absolute favorite,” he said. “I adore movies that transport us decades ahead, allowing our imagination to shape future worlds while still being relevant to the current subject matter. It’s this blend that creates an exceptional science fiction film.
