As a long-time fan of Marvel comics and shows, I must say that the twist in Agatha All Along has left me utterly spellbound! The revelation that Billy Maximoff created the Witches’ Road with his mind is a game-changer, adding yet another layer to the intricate tapestry of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

In the storyline of Agatha All Along, a significant aspect revolves around the enigmatic Witches’ Road. Recently, we discovered its origins, which differed from most fans’ expectations. The finale of Agatha All Along presented numerous unexpected twists, such as Agatha Harkness’ shocking demise and the absence of a post-credits scene. However, the primary focus of the series was to gather a coven for walking the Witches’ Road, allowing Agatha to regain her magical abilities.

In the opening episodes of “Agatha All Along”, it’s clear that Agatha has traveled the Witches’ Path previously, giving her the skills needed for another journey. Her objective is to reclaim the powers taken from her by the Scarlet Witch in “WandaVision”. Simultaneously, Billy yearns to find his lost brother, Tommy. Upon completing the penultimate challenge, they find themselves back at the starting point where they discarded their shoes. The path led them in a loop, leaving them puzzled. After some time, Agatha sacrifices herself to Rio/Death, and Billy returns to Eastview.

As soon as Billy steps into his bedroom, he begins observing that several of his belongings share ties with the Witches’ Road. For instance, there’s a poster for an album produced by Alice’s mom, named “The Ballad of the Witches Road,” a figurine depicting a green-skinned witch, a tree strikingly reminiscent of one from the Road, and leaves of various colors. The narrative also flashes back to instances where Agatha denies the existence of the Road, Billy arguing that it mirrors his own imagining, and Lilia predicting Billy’s future, stating, “You are the Magician. You possess immense potential, and you can transform all your aspirations into reality.

Gradually, Billy comes to understand and piece together the facts, eventually recognizing that it was himself who constructed the Witches’ Path, much like his mother, Wanda Maximoff, did with the hex surrounding Westview.

In another flashback scene, Agatha and the coven are seen singing the Witches’ Road song in Agatha’s basement. However, before Agatha could provoke the other witches to fight her for their powers, Billy suddenly bursts in. Noticing the door to the Witches’ Road on the floor, Billy and the coven step through it. As they do so, you can see Agatha mentally piecing things together. She is gradually understanding that Billy was the one who constructed the Road, implying he might be one of the Scarlet Witch’s offspring.

In a surprising turn of events, the spirit of Agatha appears in Billy’s bedroom. They start discussing the intricate details that led to the creation of the Witches’ Road. Agatha claims that the Ballad of the Witches’ Road was merely a trick used to entice naive witches. Since Billy constructed the Road, he is accountable for the deaths of Alice, Lilia, and Mrs. Davis. Agatha points out that she was responsible for Alice’s death, while Lilia willingly gave up her life to halt the Salem Seven. Billy can argue that he spared a life by expelling Jen from the Road.

It turns out that Billy shares some striking similarities with the Scarlet Witch, a revelation we didn’t anticipate earlier. While Wanda Maximoff conjured the Westview hex following the loss of Vision, Billy has manifested the Witches’ Road in a desperate search for his lost sibling Tommy. This act of creation is quite remarkable, but it also makes Billy a target, as there will be those who wish to exploit him or seize his powers. However, given that Billy has demonstrated the power to create the Witches’ Road out of nothing, he certainly possesses the ability to protect himself.
